How About That Swing? “For he who has no tranquility there is no concentration” - Bahgavad Gita

ave you ever had the perfect game, or more probably, the perfect hole?

The kind of hole that right off the tee, you felt incredible and were setup just perfectly for a birdie or maybe even an eagle? I mean the kind of hole, say 350 yards out, up about 20 yards from the pin? Then you chip up and you’re about two feet away, then tap it in for a birdie? Well, what happened and why don’t you do that on every hole? Let’s talk about it. We know the pros do it. We know it’s possible. Why don’t we do this on every hole? I was a bit angry with myself and I felt, “damn, it does not really matter what I do, so I’m just going to hit the ball. I don’t care about any practice swings at all!” During these types of shots, replete with its fits of anger, I jumped off the cart, ripped the club out of my bag, promptly walked over to the ball, addressed it, and swung, all in the matter of about 20 seconds. Imagine my surprise when, the ball flew perfectly and went where I needed it to be. «
