My journey in real estate started as a part-time job while I was a junior at the University of Texas. At the time, it was just a way to gain experience, but I quickly realized I had a natural passion for it. After graduating with a finance degree, I found that while I loved numbers, my true calling was in real estate — where I could combine my love for people, sales, and the dynamic Austin market.

What began as a side job soon became a fullfledged career, driven by my excitement for helping clients navigate one of the most significant investments of their lives. Austin is an incredible city with a unique energy, and I thrive on matching people with homes that fit not just their needs, but their lifestyle.

When It Comes to Reading, What Book Has Had the Biggest Impact on Your Life?

I just finished Let Them by Mel Robbins, and it truly resonated with me. The book’s message about letting go of control, focusing on what you can change, and embracing a mindset of selftrust hit home. In both my personal life and real estate career, I’ve learned that you can’t force things—you have to focus on your own path, do your best, and let people be who they are.

In real estate, this mindset is invaluable. Every transaction, client, and situation is unique, and the best outcomes happen when you stay grounded, adaptable, and open to possibilities.

Let Them reinforced the importance of trusting the process and focusing on what truly matters. Mel was a keynote speaker at a conference that I went to and has been one of my favorites ever since!

Tell Us One Thing That Not Many People Know About You?

I grew up in Boerne, Texas, back when it was an incredibly small town. When I graduated high school in 1987, my class had only 180 students! I rode western and participated in local rodeos, fully embracing the Texas Hill Country lifestyle. My family is still there, and while I love that part of Texas, I feel so blessed to have landed in Austin.

One experience that truly shaped me was studying in Belgium as an exchange student. It wasn’t just my first adventure abroad — it was my first time traveling anywhere. I had never even been on an airplane before that trip! That experience completely opened my eyes to the world, and I’ve never looked back. It sparked a lifelong love of travel, and my husband and I made it a priority to introduce our children to global experiences from an early age. We’ve traveled together as a family all over the world, and I’m so grateful for the perspective and memories those adventures have given us.
