THE PROFESSIONAL TOUCH It is important for my clients to have an outsider’s opinion, to help and to arrive at the perfect accomplishment of their vision. Direction, advice, exchange of ideas—all of these elements translate into the ‘professional’ part of our job. Communication is the heart of our success, but trust and confidence are also very important, especially when the client doesn’t have the time to be involved in each step of the process.

Change is in the air. As Arizona’s real estate market moves away from its traditional roots, builders are developing more and more contemporary-style architecture. This shift is welcomed with open arms by Paris Milan Home, whose 3,000-squarefoot design studio/showroom of high-end, European contemporary finds provides homeowners and trade pros with the perfect design solutions. “Be it for one room or an entire home, the result is the same,” says president Nathalie Chianura. “The translation of a client’s personality in the modification of any space elicits happiness and emotion.” After 28 years in the oversees furniture market, Chianura opened Paris Milan Home in 2019, exhibiting her curated collection of European brands known for quality, creativity and craftsmanship. “The value of Paris Milan Home is to preserve the European ‘savoir faire,’” she says. “Our past is our identity and our value.”

LIKE A CHAMELEON •F rom Paris: “As a designer in Paris, I worked with a client who wanted to create an opening from the library of his castle to his new kitchen. However, the castle had 39-inch-thick walls and was classified as a historic monument of France. So, I had to adapt, not only what the client wanted but how I was going to achieve their goal. The structure of a house is one of the biggest elements to influence the direction of a renovation.” • To Vegas: “A client asked me to see his newly purchased unit in the Mandarin Oriental Residences in Las Vegas. Upon arriving, we went from discussing furniture selection to tearing down the unit, from floors to walls, including a new bathroom and kitchen. This time it was about adapting the structure to contemporary furniture. No matter the situation, our products and services have to adapt to achieve the desired result.”
