Welcome to Wine Time

We are committed to supporting small, family-run winemakers who farm sustainably, organically and/ or biodynamically. Of the hundreds of wines we taste each year, only a select few will meet our criteria for inclusion on our shelves or for our Wine By The Glass program. We always look for wines that are true to the varietal, taste of the place they come from and offer exceptional quality and drinkability for their price.

What pairs better with wine than supporting local nonprofits?

WTB Wine Battles are an inventive and fun way to try new wines while supporting your community. Each Wine Battle will pit 2-3 wines against each other centered around a theme. Taste the wines, scan the QR Code, and vote for your favorite. Each battle will run for 2 weeks then the winning wine will be revealed.

WTB will donate $1 of every Wine Battle purchased to this month’s local nonprofit. Contribute more by purchasing a bottle of one, or all, of the wines you enjoyed. For every bottle WTB sells, we’ll donate $1 to this month’s local nonprofit.

Eat, drink, and support your community!

CURRENT BATTLES:

Traditional vs Non-Traditional Sparklers.............................. $14

There are several ways to make a wine sparkle which results in different styles, complexities and quality. The traditional method is the method used in Champagne. This is labor intensive, requires the second fermentation to take place in the bottle you are drinking from and results in complex wines with notes of yeast and toast. The other methods are made bubbly in a tank or are fermented under a crown cap in bottle to keep in the carbon dioxide. These wines are more fruit forward and less complex and usually have a more aggressive mousse (bubbles). This battle features one sparkler made in the Traditional Method, and one made in another way. Can you pick which is which? Taste and see which you prefer.

What's Old Is New Again................................... $14

When we talk about wine regions, we reference the Old World (Europe) and the New World (the rest of the world). Old World wines tend to use less new oak, are usually lower in alcohol and are more subtle. New World wines tend to be more fruit forward and bold in style with more new oak and higher alcohol. In this battle we have two wines made from the same grape. One is Old World and the other New World. Can you tell which is which? Taste and see which you prefer.

These battles are ongoing and will change every 2 weeks, so come back and battle again to discover new wine and battle themes.

Ask your server or bartender for more details and how to participate.

Cheers!
