WORKEXPERIENCES

PT OLAHKARSA INOVASI INDONESIA

RESEARCHER

June - October 2024

As a researcher, I had the opportunity to contribute to CSR research projects in several partner companies. This role provided me with practical experience, the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, and the chance to apply different research methodologies.

My experience includes assisting partner companies in the preparation of Green PROPER documents as per the Ministry of Environment and Forestry policy, with an emphasis on Stakeholder Engagement and Social License Index documents. In this role, I conducted analysis of CSR programs, business processes, as well as stakeholder mapping for the company partner, such as PT Pertamina Patra Niaga AFT El Tari dan PT Jababeka Infrastruktur.

My involvement not only enhanced my understanding of the subject matter of each project, but also strengthened my skills in data collection, analysis and reporting.

Project at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aviaton Fuel Terminal El Tari

I was responsible for conducted research for the fulfillment of the Green PROPER document - specifically, Stakeholder Engagement document - which is required for companies in fulfillment of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry policy.

Stakeholder Engagement and Social License Index: I conducted stakeholder mapping and analysis, with targeted informants being civil society, governments, company partners, and Non-Government Organizations (NGO). By measuring the level of community trust through the Social License Index, I was able to provide recommendations to improve the company's social and environmental practices and strengthen community relations.

I conducted in-depth interviews, observations and surveys with more than 40 stakeholders to understand the impact of the company's operations on the community. I used the results of these interviews and surveys to evaluate existing CSR programs and formulate recommendations for improvements that better meet the needs of the community.

I identified risks and opportunities in business processes related to CSR. I also helped formulate strategies to improve the company's environmental and social performance, including the implementation of greener policies and increased transparency and accountability.

The characteristics of grassroots communities are more widespread, making manufacturers of disposable gallons target grassroots communities as consumers. To respond to the issue of disposable gallon waste, not only the role of the government is needed but also the support and active participation of other communities, one of which is grassroots civil society.

The way that can be done is through the use of public space, such as making a petition so that the product can be withdrawn by the manufacturer. In addition, grassroots communities can apply plastic waste empowerment to produce creative and innovative works of art for environmental sustainability. Problems related to the issue of disposable gallons are not only felt by grassroots communities but also by communities that care about the environment, such as Greenpeace. This community can be one of the networks of grassroots communities to voice aspirations related to disposable gallons.
