Wolves FC Training Centre

Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Premier League football club were looking for a way of improving the light levels throughout their training ground, without increasing running costs.

Working with the contractor, Lumineux’s lighting design team built a solution to improve the coverage and cost effectiveness of the club’s current set up.

The training centre now has over 220 lights installed, throughout the pitch, balcony, evaluation area and training room. The lighting has made an immediate impact, especially on the training pitch where the difference between the old and new lighting is clear to see.

Significant improvement in lighting coupled with a reduction in running costs.

Asymmetric Sports Lighting

Suitable for: Swimming Pools and Tennis Courts

The Wilton is a high quality sports light with asymmetric optics, ideal for environments that require a specifi c direction of light. This high effi ciency, 140 lumens per circuit watt fi tting combines a IP67 ingress protection rating with and durable IK09 rated construction. It also comes with a 5-year warranty.

Harlock

Court Lighting

Suitable for: Outdoor Tennis Courts, Large Swimming Pools & Driving Ranges

The Harlock is an asymmetric sports light with an optic lens and up to 93% lighting transparency. It’s a tough light, suitable for outdoors with an IP66 ingress protection rating and an IK10 impact rating, alongside its highly effi cient 143 lumens per circuit watt.

Indoor Tennis Courts

Working alongside our Lighting Design team, a solution was created to replace their existing lighting for an LED alternative. Throughout the courts, 264 Arnfi elds were installed, leading to noticeably improved lighting on the courts and a dramatic saving in running and maintenance costs.

The estimated saving was calculated at £136,235 over 5 years

David Lloyd Leisure in Southampton is one of a number of David Lloyd facilities where Lumineux products have been installed. The Southampton Club were looking to improve the lighting in their indoor tennis courts, without increasing their energy costs.
