No power supply The Lumencove Nano 2.0 features Lumendrive, a patented Lumenpulse technology, which ingeniously drives LEDs from the mains without requiring a power supply or driver. Consequently, the luminaire is able to offer multiple benefits including smaller size, greater efficiency and a unique 10-year warranty.

Meet lumendrive™ What is lumendrive™? Lumendrive powers LEDs with AC voltage, while still allowing full digital dimming and control. By dispensing with a power supply, the technology provides multiple benefits, including greater efficiency, smaller size and a lifetime no longer restricted by third-party components. How does it work? Lumendrive monitors the AC waveform, and turns LEDs on and off as the AC voltage increases and decreases. In effect, the voltage is being divided into portions and distributed to the various LEDs as it becomes available along the course of the sine wave. This is what allows the luminaire to be run directly off the AC mains, without having to use a power supply to convert from AC to DC.

By removing the power supply, we have been able to shrink the footprint of the luminaire without sacrificing sustainability or reliability. Competing cove solutions attempt to manage size by embedding power supply electronics on the back of the LED board, which causes thermal and durability issues.
40% less packaging We have taken a conscious decision to reduce the amount of wasteful packaging by 40%. This is not only better for the environment, it creates less clutter on site and saves time and labour.

Controls made simple The Lumencove Nano 2.0 is control agnostic, working seamlessly with 1-10V, DMX, DALI and Lumentalk, and resolving all the usual compatibility issues. The luminaire also provides smooth digital dimming down to 5%, or 10% when paired with analog control.

Your bridge to simple dimming Control via 1-10V, DALI or DMX The Lumencove Nano 2.0 will integrate with any installed control system: 1-10V, DALI or DMX – it does not matter. All we do is supply a small device that acts as a bridge from the controller to each run of luminaires.

Digital Data Bridge The Digital Data Bridge is an agnostic controller that accepts 1-10V, DALI, or DMX input signals, making it appropriate for a variety of lighting installations. The controller supports 46 m of luminaires, up to 30 m away from the fixtures—run length no longer affects dimming curves.

In a tight spot? When space is restricted, simply snap off the tabs from the extended mounting plates to reduce the luminaire’s footprint.
