I have always been passionate about all aspects of general surgery, especially diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Through minimally invasive endoscopic, laparoscopic, or robotic surgery, I am able to perform procedures and surgeries in such a way that recovery can be much faster with less pain compared to traditional, open surgeries. I am able to offer the best surgical treatment options for benign and

malignant disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, including colon and rectal surgeries. For what are you most known? Surgical treatment of obesity, general surgery, diagnosis and surgical treatment of benign and malignant gastrointestinal disease including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectal through minimally invasive approach. How do you set your practice apart? Total patient-centered care is the model for my practice. I strive to stay current on new surgical technologies, procedures, and the latest research to improve patients’ outcomes and provide the best surgical care. What do you find most rewarding about being a physician? Having the opportunity to perform surgeries in order to eliminate suffering, improve quality of life, restore functionality, and prolong a patient’s life. What is your most memorable moment in medicine? Seeing patients and their family members with a smile post operatively once their surgical problem is addressed and they can return to normal life.
