CAD Development of the Hub Device

The evolution of the different forms created throughout the CAD design process.

Developing the Hub Device’s shape to towards a smooth, minimalistic, yet bubbly aesthetic. Implementing a cute character into the face of the product was a key component to ensuring that there could be an emotion connection created between user and the product.

The Final Design

Evidence of all required areas have been utilised: Minimalism, functional and emotional connection.

Includes engineering details, such as split lines, development of a more structural correct face detail and the structural support required for injection moulding.
