Elizabeth Smith Field Day On May 19th, our Lake Ridge Key Clubbers took time away from school in order to volunteer at Elizabeth Smith Elementary to help organize the school’s field day. Volunteers did a variety of tasks such as helping the organizers run the concession stands, set up field day events, manage the bounce houses, and making sure to keep an eye on the elementary school children.

Although the event lasted all day long on a school day, our Key Clubbers enjoy the opportunity to help out their club as they loved to get out of school in order to serve the community.

Overall, the event was a blast and our key clubbers built memories that will last them a lifetime.

Annette Perry Field Day On May 26th, Lake Ridge Key Club volunteered at Annette Perry Elementary School in order to help manage the school’s field day. Organizers of the field day asked upon our Key Clubbers a number of tasks including setting up and running the concession stands, managing field day events and activities such as bounce houses, and helping teachers to keep an eye on the field day participants.

Overall, the field day was a huge success thanks to all of our Key Club volunteers who showed up and help run the event smoothly. Volunteers had fun as they spent time away from the classroom in order to help serve their community and make our Key Club proud.
