Susquehanna University’s curriculum requires every student to study abroad, so I traveled to Nepal to learn about Sherpa culture and trek up to South Base Camp of Mt. Everest over Christmas break. I, along with a group of 13 students and three professors, departed for Nepal two days before Christmas. up to the South Base Camp. The roundtrip trek took 14 days as we started around 8,000 feet
