LOYOLA BLAKEFIELD

LOGOS

The Loyola Blakefield brand has two primary logos, the Oval L and the Cross.

The Oval L serves as our primary logo and and represents our brand both internally and externally. Though it does not contain the name of the institution, the L is recognized well enough in the local market to be used on its own.

The Cross logo is used in more traditional settings, or on official documentation.

LOGO USAGE

The Oval L may be used in a variety of ways. The logo may be used in 2-color with our brand’s two primary colors, or may be used 1-color in blue, yellow, black, or white.

The L may also be used as a standalone in certain situations.

The Oval L must never be skewed and must always be presented in correct proportions. The logo must always be visible and without any assets overlapping on top. It must always be shown in proper colors as above, and never reversed.

Any other usage or coloring of the Oval L logo must be approved through the Marketing and Communications Department.

LOGO USAGE

The Cross logo should always appear horizontal and on a straight plane. It must not be angled or presented vertically. The logo may appear in 2-color blue and gold, or 1-color in blue, gold, black, or white.

In some situations the logo may appear without the tagline, but the tagline should remain included wherever possible.

The Cross is the only component that may be used on its own when required. The logotype and tagline must never be used alone.

OTHER LOGOS

There are numerous other logos in use to represent athletics, clubs, activities and campus initiatives.

Any new logo representing Loyola in any way must be created and/or approved through the Marketing and Communications Department.

L OYOLA LACROSSE

SCHOOL SEAL

The school seal is intended for more formal usage, such as on official documentation, stationery, and permanent on-campus signage. The seal must always be depicted in approved school colors, black, or white.

The seal includes the Loyola family coat of arms, which depicts two wolves over a cauldron, a representation of the generosity of the family.
