THE FAVOURITES OF THE MEET IN OOSTENDE TEAM

Lieve, Thomas and Rob of Meet in Oostende are here to assist you with all aspects of your search for the most suitable venue for you and your colleagues. As your single point of contact and thanks to their outstanding collaboration with all their partners they can provide you with a clear overview of all the possibilities.

With a thorough knowledge of Ostend, they are the perfect people to help you organise your next team event. From a team-building event to a large-scale conference.

Let yourself be inspired by their personal preferences.

THOMAS’ FAVOURITES

Kursaal Oostende is the perfect venue for a successful conference. Its prime location on the seafront, surrounded by numerous hotels and restaurants, combined with its impressive setting, makes this venue truly special. By the end of 2026, the auditorium will be fully adjustable, making the Kursaal more than ever the place to be for top-tier events.

The night before the conference, participants gather for an informal icebreaker reception at De Grote Post. A great opportunity to connect and set the right tone for the days ahead.

The first day of the conference takes place at the Kursaal, where a strong content-driven programme is perfectly complemented by the impressive building and state-of-the-art facilities. After an inspiring day, guests enjoy a festive evening at the Wellington Racecourse, with great food, a relaxed atmosphere and engaging conversations. An overnight stay at the nearby Thermae Palace provides a comfortable end to the day.

On day two, participants start with a morning of inspiring sessions at the Kursaal. In the afternoon, there’s time to explore Ostend –visiting cultural gems like the James Ensor House, Fort Napoleon and the sailing ship Mercator. These relaxed outings provide the perfect conclusion to a successful conference.

With its unique mix of content, networking opportunities and relaxation, this conference programme offers a valuable experience for all attendees.

LIEVE’S FAVOURITES

Fort Napoleon is a unique venue where you can organise a full-day programme. Whether it’s a team-building event, dinner or even a family day, the possibilities are endless.

As a true lover of the sea, I naturally choose locations by the water, on the beach or in the dunes. Phare East is another fantastic venue with a holiday vibe and breathtaking sea views.

Hotel Andromeda is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful hotels on the Belgian coast. Not only can you stay overnight, but you can also enjoy a luxurious breakfast, a swim and a relaxing wellness experience.

ROB’S FAVOURITES

Hotel Cocoon guarantees a warm welcome and a relaxing start to your stay. With its central location in Ostend, everything is within reach. Start your day with a delicious breakfast to fuel up for an active day.

Bicycles or golf carts are delivered to the hotel, after which we embark on The Crystal Ship Rally. This fun quest takes you past the stunning street art of The Crystal Ship, a unique way to explore Ostend. Lunch at the cosy Cultuurcafé provides the perfect moment to reflect on the morning’s activities.

The afternoon is all about the sea. Guests participate in an introductory sailing session, where teamwork, communication and perseverance are key. After an adventurous afternoon on the water, a gourmet dinner at Savarin is the perfect reward. A relaxing walk along the promenade rounds off the evening, before heading back to hotel Cocoon for a well-earned rest.
