WORDMARK

SYMBOL

A sans-serif typeface was chosen for the wordmark to make the logo appear less formal. The letter 'n' had its ear tweaked to let it appear to be more similar to a bird's beak.

One of the shoulders of the letter 'k' in the wordmark was replaced by a symbol of a wing. The wing is used to symbolize both the notion of flight, and a bird.

BACKGROUND CONTROL

The preferred background colour for the logo will be white, with the logo in its original primary colours. In cases whereby a darker background colour is to be used, the alternate version of the logo will be used. It is not recommended for the logo to be used on gradient backgrounds or images, as it will affect visibility. It is essential to ensure clear visibility of the logo. More details on the exact shades of colour to use will be covered on the next spread.

PRIMARY COLOURS

This shade of crimson is used to depict the passion and warmth from you to your loved ones. It suits our brand image because we are bridging the distance between you and your family.

A medium shade of grey is used instead of black so that the logo will not appear too harsh.

This pink colour is actually a lighter shade of the crimson colour shown above. This is done so that the variation between the original and alternate logos will not be too large. 06

AIRPORT DESK ITEMS Airport desk items include the boarding pass, luggage tag, stationery and luggage sticker. The back of the luggage tag is printed with a motif made up from the logo's symbol to further strengthen the brand's identity.

Aircraft Design

LIVERY AND MULTIMEDIA Design for our Nok aircrafts was kept as simple as possible, so that the logo can be easily seen from afar. The corporate crimson colour was used throughout our iPhone application to convey the brand identity. The interface was also kept simple to ensure easy usability and understanding of the user.
