Fall End of the year Appeal
Thanksgiving season is a wonderful time to reflect on the abundance of God’s blessings in our lives and the power of love in action. At Love INC, we are constantly reminded of the profound gift we give is not just material assistance, but the spiritual power of hope, faith, and love that you help us deliver to those who need it most.
Your generosity allows us to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of families in our community—restoring hope, encouraging faith, and showing to hurting neighbors they are deeply loved. It is because of our partner churches, businesses, donors, and community volunteers that families in need find hope. And because of your support we can continue to serve those facing challenging times.

Here are just a couple of incredible stories of transformation that were made possible because of your support.
At this year’s annual golf event, we welcomed Mariah and Charisma to share their story, and the profound impact Love INC has had on their life and their families lives.
Mariah, a mother who was facing overwhelming financial hardship and uncertain about how to pay for items she needed and the soon to arrive baby they were expecting. She came to us seeking help, but what she received was so much more. Through the generosity of supporters like you, she not only received basic living essentials, but she also found something money cannot buy—hope for the future.
“I needed a high chair for my baby and a crib. So when I saw a flier hanging on the wall that said, ‘Do you need a crib? Do you need a high chair?’ I’m like, yes! I called the Love INC Helpline and Jenny answered my call for help. She was wonderful! She actually helped me out with a lot more things that I didn’t even think to even ask, and it was just such a blessing to be able to receive those things.”
“It’s really crazy because just a year ago, our family faced a hardship where we were evicted from our home, uprooted from Arizona. We loved everything about Arizona, so it was very bitter for us to leave under the circumstances that we were facing. I was seven months pregnant at the time and I was a high risk pregnancy, we had to stay in our van for a few weeks before we actually got sheltered here in Minnesota. That was a journey within itself to even try to find housing, to find income, all over again. A lot of the stuff that we left behind in Arizona we had just got for our baby, so to throw all of that stuff out, or to get rid of it, you know, sell it and things like that, it really pierced my soul. I had done everything right, everything I was supposed to do. I had everything provided for my baby and to suffer this huge loss. It was just such a blessing to come across that Love INC flier that day with the needs listed on it. So that’s where it led me to hope. I really appreciate everything, the diapers, the wipes, right down to the toothbrushes and toothpaste. You have no idea, going days without that, how that feels. You know, not showering, no tissue. It’s just such a tremendous help, also even providing bikes for my kids when we got into our place and they were able to ride around in the neighborhood now and just be kids.”
Charisma, another Love INC client was staying in a hotel while waiting for housing, and a young lady had told her that Love INC can help with the transition to move in so that she wouldn’t have to worry about items like dishwashing soup, face towels and essentials like that.
“Thank you for everything with the transition to move in; with just the ease that I had with knowing that I have certain things in place so that we can go from not having anything to having again. Now it’s a little bit more stable than where we were before, so I appreciate each one of you guys, very, very, very much.”

This is what makes Love INC unique. We believe that meeting physical needs—whether it’s toothpaste, beds, or cleaning supplies—is essential, but we also recognize that every person we reach asking for help is searching for something deeper: hope. Through your support, we can offer both tangible support and the encouragement that reminds people they are never alone.
Your Support in Action: Delivering Hope Alongside Help
This year, your generosity allowed us to:
1. Provide backpacks and school supplies to over 720 children but more than that, we gave these children the confidence that comes from being prepared and parents relief from financial strain. It was a beautiful reminder to them that they are cared for by their community.
2. Take over 1900 calls for help this year already. The need continues to grow, and we are here for it.
3. 146: The number of households that are first-time Love INC clients in 2024.
