Free Mini-Seminar Company Situational Triage aka a Simplified view of the firm: Effective Turn Around Management Consultants must rapidly diagnose a firm’s major problems, and/or business model strengths and weaknesses. They must then execute triage to quickly alleviate negative cash flow, deficit bank loan codicils, calm recalcitrant vendors, and determine the shortest strategies to secure the firm’s near and long-term future. The immediate task is to identify and repair all major dented or unprofitable business model elements and strategies to allow injection of tactics and possibly new capital to sustain the firm until the new strategies can take root.

The “Four-Legged Stool” Paradigm review All organizations have a describable operating model. This is true, whether the model has been formally stated or just evolved. The phrase, “this is the way we do things here!” is proof of the existence of an operating model. When a firm is in trouble, management tends to intrepidly execute their model even harder with unlikely change of performance. When the troubles become unbearable, invariably by Finance reports of unacceptable negative cash flow or P(L) losses, then it is critical to objectively review the model. I suggest the use of the “Four-Legged Stool” paradigm or prism.
