DR MONICA BULLEN (’38)
Happy 100th Birthday to Dr Monica Mary Teresa Bullen, MBBS, DCP (Syd)(’38), pictured here with her nephew Bernard. In retirement, Monica spent many years as the Volunteer Archivist at Loreto Kirribilli, and has written a vivid memoir of her life at school in the 1930s. Congratulations Monica!
Her daughter Linda writes: The photo of four generations of Loreto women in our family was taken on 29 January 2017. L-R: my sister, Barbara Anderson (Reilly ’62); my granddaughter, Maya Rengaswamy, now in Year 11 at Normanhurst; myself, Linda Newcomb (Reilly '67); my daughter, Kate Rengaswamy (Newcomb ’92) and my mother, Mrs Barbara (Bobbie) Reilly (Baker-Becket ’39). Mum also attended Loreto Kirribilli and Loreto Mandeville Hall, Toorak.
Margaret’s sisters, daughters, nieces and great nieces have all attended Loreto Kirribilli or Loreto Normanhurst, and she has two great-nieces who are current students at Loreto Kirribilli.
