I return to the College this week, having spent three enriching days last week with my “sister” Principals on our annual Loreto Principals’ Retreat. Our facilitator this year was the gracious, wise and magnificent Ms Dunne. As you can well imagine and appreciate, her spiritual guidance was truly special and deeply and profoundly nourishing.
Below is an image I captured whilst on Retreat that speaks to me of the inner and the outer world and of the importance of taking me to explore the beauty within and the beauty without. “We are to speak freely to God without fear and in freedom.” “We need to be alert to the interplay of the inner and outer world of our encounter – the ever deepening layers of understanding, gained so that we may have something to say.” Carmel Dunne 2011 I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to pray, to listen, to be and to reflect.
