ROAD TRIP CELEBRATION
OF THE SECOND YEAR OF ROADS, RAILS & SALES
The second annual Roads-Railsn-Sales took place September 26 after bad weather canceled the original date of September 25. It brought together a car, truck & motorcycle show, an all-category flea market, and historic railroad equipment on the beautiful and historic grounds of Lorain's Black River Landing. photos by Reinaldo Contreras
Visitors got to see more than 200 vehicles, and vintage railroad motor cars and other railroad equipment were alongside the current location of Lorain's Caboose C-3855. Guests even toured inside the caboose and learned the important history of the railroads in Lorain. This on-the-spot history lesson was possible due to a volunteer and former crewman who worked on this very caboose when it was in service.
