London Runway is looking for a sales associate to join our committed, busy, and fashion-loving team.

About you: You are comfortable speaking with strangers and happy making phone calls, sending emails, and communicating over social media. You have an outgoing and bubbly personality - you tend to make friends wherever you go! You may have some sales experience, and you may be passionate about fashion. We do not require you to have any particular qualifications, but you should be at least 21 years of age and no longer in full-time education, or due to finish full-time education by Summer 2024, in order to meet the demands of the role. You’re a self-starter who will be able to work remotely without daily oversight. You may have other parttime work - we don’t mind what schedule you keep as long as the work gets done. You’re looking for a longterm challenge you can throw yourself into and want to be part of the exciting world of change that comes with a new venture or start-up. You’re motivated by targets, goals, and bonuses. You live in London or within fast and easy travel distance.

About the role: The sales associate will be the only dedicated member of our sales team, though we have other team members who also help out alongside this role. At first, this will be a part-time position. Our aim is to find the right candidate who can boost our sales and allow us to extend the role into a fulltime position.

We are currently offering a starting rate just above minum wage at £11/hour, but for the candidate who can meet initial targets, we’re looking to raise this rate in line with job performance. Your role will involve the following: dealing with incoming leads and converting them into advertising sales or other types of paid placement outreach to potential new customers outreach to featured brands and individuals to ensure they have all the relevant information about their feature liaising with the Chief Editor and the design team on issue placement and design for all advertising and editorial placements keeping up to date records on sales, leads, prospects, and placements

sending invoices and keeping track of payments received or due building relationships with PR agencies, modeling agencies, individual brands, show producers, university professors and fashion course administrators, and other relevant industry individuals attending fashion shows and trade shows, as well as other relevant events liaising with other platforms, such as Kavyar, where we take in our editorial submissions sharing responsibility with other team members on social media updates and placement, responses, and advertising/boosting our own posts taking meetings with leads and clients, and dealing with phone calls, Zoom calls, and emails learning our offers and USPs inside out, so you can offer them to clients from memory hitting sales targets and KPIs
