For Hotel Angeleno General Manager Rick Gluth, an after-school job working in a hotel as a means to escort his girlfriend to prom turned into a career. Stepping in nearly nine years ago for the redesign of Hotel Angeleno, Gluth made it his mission to provide outstanding customer service. “We are always thinking of new ways to differentiate Hotel Angeleno from the pack and keep our service delivery fresh.” With stunning 360-degree views of LA, this hotel makes for a perfect stay. “We live and work in a great city for inspiration. There is a great deal of new supply and renovations that enables us to evolve the design and refine our guest experience.”

NICOLE CASWELL Credentials: Design Consultant, California Closets INTERNATIONAL INSPIRATION • “I try to go to places like Paris, the South of France and Italy, where I’m able to study and enjoy food, music, colors and architecture at every step. Design is not only something you see, it is felt.”

California Closets was an easy choice for design consultant, Nicole Caswell. Starting her career as a florist, Caswell moved to Italy to marry her husband (couple goals!) and studied architecture and design for three years before moving back to the States. With a knack for spatial creativity, Caswell finds her passion in designing a personal oasis for her clients.“What I love most about my job is that it is never the same from day to day,” Caswell said. Now with 20 years of design experience under her belt, she’s dishing on her dream closet design and sharing her top tricks to help us all stay organized. 42 LOCALE MAGAZINE
