Nona Knows THIS CEO HAS HER FINGER ON THE PULSE OF PALM SPRINGS
“After a long week, Friday is the perfect night to unwind with a visit to the Palm Springs Art Museum.”
EXPERT: Nona Watson CREDENTIALS: CEO, Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce
MONDAY ¢ Monday morning always starts off with a stop at Nature’s Health Food & Cafe for a signature blend from their organic juice bar. My choice always includes carrots and spinach for energy. Then it’s off to the office for our weekly staff meeting. www.natureshealthfoodcafe.com www.pschamber.org
TUESDAY ¢ With back to back meetings, it’s nice to get out of the office in the afternoon and attend the chamber’s weekly Leads Lunch. In December, we were hosted by Antigua Kitchen and Bar. A must try is their Ahi Mango Tartare. www.antiguapalmsprings.com
WEDNESDAY ¢ Wednesday is my day to work out. I always end with Nacho’s kettlebell workout at EOS Fitness. The class gives me energy, and I love the way I feel when I’m done! After the gym, it’s time to grab a bite at Eight4Nine. www.eosfitness.com www.eight4nine.com
THURSDAY ¢ VillageFest night. When the sun goes down, I love to walk downtown and explore the variety of booths offering art, handcrafted items,
entertainment and unique dining experiences. Great people watching from any of the local restaurants. www.villagefest.org
FRIDAY ¢ Friday morning starts at Cartel Coffee Lab. For extra energy, try the cold brew coffee. After a long week, Friday is the perfect night to unwind with a visit to the Palm Springs Art Museum. Then dinner at Spencer’s Restaurant—I recommend the Baja Shrimp Salad. www.cartelcoffeelab.com www.psmuseum.org
SATURDAY ¢ Saturday is my day with family. We like to sit on the patio at Lulu California Bistro and enjoy their Chinese Chicken Salad. For dinner it’s Tropicale, and I adore their Vietnamese Spring Rolls. Dessert at Kreem—you can’t go wrong with any of the organic choices. www.thetropicale.com www.lulupalmsprings.com
SUNDAY ¢ My day to get outdoors. I recommend a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to the top of Mount San Jacinto. Finish Sunday off with dinner at the Peaks Restaurant at the top. www.pstramway.com
