AIESEC OVERVIEW What is AIESEC?

AIESEC is proudly the world’s largest youth-run organization. Focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to participate in international internship, leadership development and global learning environment.


What?

ENGLISH FOR FUTURE English For Future (E.F.F.) is a project run by English Club of Cam My High School with the aim to enhance English communication skills, cultural understanding and self-confidence for students in rural area.

Why?

The Vietnamese government have identified English speaking as the key to the country’s future growth ambitions because of the strong influence of globalization on its economics, especially employment.


JOB DESCRIPTION Pre-internship - Read through all E.F.F.’s to know about the project. - Pack your laptop along to prepare for project. - Mentally prepare for every situations.


JOB DESCRIPTION During internship • Design and develop content for E.F.F.’s classes and activities with other interns and English Club members. • Ensure development of your students language skills by feedbacks, class activities, constant communication. • Participate in E.F.F.’s activities (including classes and workshops about leadership, career orientation, environmental issues).


JOB DESCRIPTION During internship • Deliver interactive classes and workshops to your students based on selected topic with other interns. • Duration of each class: 2 hours; 2 classes/day; 5days/week; 15-20 attendees/class. • Represent your culture to: project participants, AIESEC members, participants of other AIESEC activities.


JOB DESCRIPTION After internship • Fill in AIESEC Global Community Development Program Feedback Survey after matched status, coming to Vietnam and back to home country. • Provide feedback on different stages of project to increase the quality of experience.


TIMELINE Duration: 6 weeks • 1st week: in HCMC, get training and preparation • 2nd week: in Đồng Nai Province, adapt to new place and prepare for the project • 3rd week – 6th week: in Đồng Nai Province, doing the project


ACCOMMODATION Hostel • • • • • • • •

Double room: 250,000VND/room/night (~$11) Single room: 150,000VND/room/night (~$7.5) Including: beds, TV, AC, hot water, Wifi access, wardrobe. Laundry: 10,000VND/kg (~$0.5) Meal at the hostel: 30,000VND/meal (~$1.5) Drinking water: 20,000VND/20 liter-bottle 5 mins by walking to the bus stop Curfew time: 11PM
