AIESEC in Vietnam has more than 450 active members from 20 local universities and over 2100 alumni working in leading local and multinational companies. AIESEC in Vietnam was established in 2006. For the past 9 years, we have been facilitating youth leadership activities as well as international internships and volunteer experiences across Vietnam. LC HO CHI MINH CITY AIESEC Ho Chi Minh City (AIESEC HCMC) is the FIRST local chapter (LC) of AIESEC in Vietnam in 2006. At Ignite conference 2010, AIESEC HCMC was awarded as the BEST LC of AIESEC in Vietnam. During 2012, AIESEC LC HCMC proudly received: Business Development award, Incoming Exchange award and BEST Exchange performance LC of quarter 3/2012 We continued to receive more awards in the following years: Business Development award, Incoming Exchange award and Outgoing Exchange award.

INTRODUCTION Beautiful Mind aims to help autism children at the orphanage (6-15 ages) improve their English and soft skills.
 The Vietnamese autistic children are very shy, reserved and occasionally frightened at the sight of practicing English. This leads to a huge demerit in their future lives. Thus, Bim Bim - the NGO - is in need of devoted volunteers to teach children and help them open their hearts better.

*NOTE: The length of the project may vary depending on EP’s availability, and the shortened or prolonged weeks may both be contributed to the implementation weeks.


JOB DESCRIPTIONS #JD1: Fully understand about the children before teaching (their conditions, attitudes, communication method,teaching method should be applied)
 Prepare, conduct and develop an English teaching program appropriate for autistic children from age 6 to 15.
 Build and develop at least 2 teaching equipments/materials
 Do fund-raising at least 2 million VND (around 95 USD)
 #JD2: Ensure development of your student language skills by tests, class activities, constant communication, outdoor activities and following plan.
 Actively communicate with other interns to share experience and learn from them.


JOB DESCRIPTIONS #JD3: Fill in AIESEC Global Community Development Program Feedback Survey 3 times and give us comments: after matched status, in Vietnam after around 2 weeks and back to home country. Furthermore, please fill in questionnaire before coming to Vietnam. #JD4: Represent your country to Vietnamese people: children, Vietnamese volunteers, AIESEC-ers, students,‌ #JD5: Actively participate in LC activities: orientation day (obligatory), training (if any), CEED (optionally), reflection activities, promotion activities, events related to exchange, etc. #JD6: Prepare report and submit at the end of the project, in order to ensure that your experience will contribute to the next batch of interns.

MUST-KNOWN INFO Approximate budget per day: $8
 Extra TN Fee: $5 (for a sim card, HCMC & AIESEC booklets, city map, pen, file holder) VISA: tourist-single entry-3 month is preferred (VISA guideline, Acceptance Note and Invitation Letter and support are provided)
