As you may know, last year we were able to donate more than $20,000 to various local and national charities through our fundraising efforts — the golf tournament alone provided approximately one-third of those funds. This was due, in no small part, to your participation. This year, the golf tournament goal is to raise $15,000. Enclosed, you will find a brochure with the tournament details along with a registration/entry form. Due to the interest in this year’s tournament, we are only able to accept the first 25 teams, so be sure to get your registration in as early as possible! Please note, a few exciting changes have been made this year: The registration deadline is September 6, 2013. After that date, the fee increases. The top three teams will receive a prize, and each member of the top three teams will
receive a trophy. The player fee includes one guest ticket to the celebratory dinner after the
tournament. Each additional guest ticket is $10. James Rogers, an acclaimed singer/songwriter and author of the official Eagles’
theme song, will be our special guest the day of the tournament.
You are also invited to attend the Nineteenth Hole Dance to be held on Saturday, August 3. Each person who registers and pays the fee that night will receive a small goody bag.
