Team Loyalty!! Labor Day is September 7th, thank you to everyone for all of the hard work that everyone puts in everyday! You guys are doing great with the new guidelines to remain open during COVID19, so keep up the good work! Be sure to check out some of the new content that we have added about monthly birthstones and information about them so that we can expand our knowledge for customers about these precious stones. We brought back a monthly sale for this month, so be sure to check that out. Also we have added a new way to look at the monthly newsletters electronically, it is an online newsletter site called Issuu, there is also an app. So be sure to check that out so you can share with friends and family! Keep doing an amazing job, Team Loyalty!!

Letter from the President Hello Loyalty Pawn Family, I will be short this month. I want to say how much I appreciate all the hard work all of you are doing, I see it in the daily numbers and all the progress that is happening throughout the company. I do want to say that, as you have all I am sure noticed, I have not been around much. My father is not in the best of health and I know many of you know him, and to those that do not he is quite the character. His health issues are fixable with diet, medication and exercise, so that is the good news! My brother, Daniel and I, are keeping a close eye on him and we are seeing improvements. With that being said, many, of you know the struggle that I have had with my family and some of you do not but the greatest accomplishment of this is the relationship I have rebuilt with my father and mother. Please be mindful of that in your own families, I was without my own family for two years and it was hard. I feel grateful to my father and am happy to be there to help him in his tough days, he is everything to me as many of you know. We have built a great company and team with the input from the entire Loyalty Pawn Team but it was started with the vision of my father. Despite our differences I LOVE him and will do what it takes to help him! This has taken much of my time but trust me I am coming back fully charged and ready to take Loyalty Pawn and OUR Loyalty Pawn family to greater heights. I communicate with Wayne and Javier OUR, phenomenal leaders, often and will be there for you all soon. Please reach out if you need and I Thank You all from the bottom of my heart! Gratefully Yours, Stan Lukowicz, III

A Letter from the General Manager Greetings Everyone!

We had a pretty good month in 2020! At each location, we have increased our sales during these funky times. It is understood that we’re not in the clear yet. We continue to monitor the news, clean efficiently and patiently wait for clarity from our local leaders to get back to an operating normal. We have been fortunate to keep our doors open for our clients and teams. This truly could not have been done without all of you. I humbly thank all of you for your continued dedication to your teams and Loyalty Pawn. As always, we like to celebrate and highlight our top sales performers. In the month of August, Dominic T. maintained first place with $46,860.91. Second place goes to Marcos Barragan who sold $23,296.89 and third place goes to Josh Bonton who sold $22,952.57. Mike Xiong was $670.00 away from getting third place! This was quite the busy month for sales! Great job team! In the last two months, we have been struggling to keep up with our inventory needs. Thankfully, we were able to outsource general goods and jewelry from other dealers in the ether. We will continue to outsource inventory while there is demand. Please, we welcome all teammembers to keep an eye out for inventory items that we would be able to sell via internet, locally, close-out liquidation and more. We do the best when we order in bulk for a 5 store company. All considerations will be taken to help with the demand from our clients. Lastly, our hopes to go live with our new software product is right around the corner. Our plan is to integrate this software by steps as to not inundate our teams at every store. There will be gradual training for each store in regard to this new software. The future ease, potential, reporting, communication platform makes this software product attractive. This year has many challenges ahead and many opportunities. As Loyalty Pawn, we will innovate, conquer and prevail! Sincerely, Wayne Silliman General Manager The secret in change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. -Socrates 3

West Sacramento Hello Team, West Sac team has done a phenomenal job in sales beating last year. We have been working on our layaway and loan portfolio balance and ended up positive on both since the beginning of the month. This will be the last month of the 3rd quarter and we will finish strong on Sales, loans, and layaways. We have been averaging 3.87 jewelry pieces per day for the month of August, which is almost one more piece per day from last month (July average jewelry pieces per day was 2.9). We have a shipment of 4k smart (32"-75") TVs which will be tested, price, and deliver to your location pretty soon. A soft remodel will be done in 2 parts. Please stop by whenever you can, we will put a picture "Group Me" app but it will not do justice to our showroom. Part 2 will be to re-wire all 4 cases on the left side (hopefully we won't get shocked this time...lol) with led lights and move our jewelry to those cases and give a new look our diamonds and jewelry. Monthly Birthstones This will help educate you about some of the more popular semi and precious stones we come across and it will also help you close some more sales. The idea is to educate you on next month’s birthstone as you can arrange your cases properly and make suggestions to our clients that may be browsing or even looking for a gift. Let’s think outside the box when utilizing this information

AUGUST Peridot, showcases a lime green color. It is one of the only gemstones that exist in only one single color. Peridot is unique in its legend; it is believed to instill power and influence upon the wearer, as well as bring magical powers and properties that protect against nightmares. SEPTEMBER Sapphire, is the birthstone of September. The Sapphire can be found in almost every color including pink, yellow, green, etc but it is most desirable in its pure, rich blue color. In the Middle Ages, the gem was believed to protect those close to you from harm and also represented loyalty and trust. OCTOBER October also has two birthstones; Tourmaline and Opal. Tourmaline is a favorite gemstone for many because it’s available in a rainbow of beautiful colors. Opal gemstones are truly unique because each individual gem is adorned with a one-of-a-kind color combination.

September Birthstone-Sapphire! The September birthstone is the sapphire, which was once thought to guard against evil and poisoning. Sapphire is a form of corundum that is typically blue, a color caused by tiny bits of iron and titanium; the vivid, medium blues are more valuable than lighter or darker forms. Due to various trace elements, sapphires also 13

appear in other colors. Those with red colors are called rubies. Sapphires were thought to encourage divine wisdom and protection. They symbolized purity, truth, trust, and loyalty. Some believed that if they were placed in a jar with a snake, the snake would die. The sapphire, along with the related ruby, are the second-hardest natural gemstones, with only the diamond being harder. CORONA VIRUS-COVID 19 California Update CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Sac County: https://www.saccounty.net/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx Here are some California COV19 Stats-see updated CDC chart below. Did you know? Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. HOW IT SPREADS- It is thought to spread mainly from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Its spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus. The virus that causes COVID-19 is spreading very easily and sustainably between people. Information from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic suggests that this virus is spreading more quickly than influenza. If you have questions about COVID-19 and need assistance finding information online or clarification regarding the information, a statewide hotline number is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week at (833) 544-2374. HAND SANITIZER WARNING The FDA is warning consumers about alcohol-based hand sanitizers that are being packaged in containers that may appear as food or drinks and may put consumers at risk of serious injury or death if ingested. The agency has discovered that some hand sanitizers are being packaged in beer cans, children’s food pouches, water bottles, juice bottles and vodka bottles. Additionally, the FDA has found hand sanitizers that contain food flavors, such as chocolate or raspberry. Manufacturers should be vigilant about avoiding packaging and marketing their hand sanitizers in food or drink packages in an effort to mitigate any potential inadvertent use by consumers. Hand sanitizer can be toxic when ingested. Drinking only a small amount of hand sanitizer is potentially lethal to a young child, who may be attracted by a pleasant smell or brightly colored bottle of hand sanitizer. The FDA continues to monitor these products and will take appropriate actions as needed to protect the health of Americans.
