Letter from the President Hello Team Loyalty, First, I would like to give a huge shout out to Team Florin for selling $120,000 in both August and September. Way To Go!!! All locations have been crushing it in sales. September and August Sales totals were the third and fourth highest sales totals in the company history. Awesome and Thank You!! I have still been spending a lot of time with my father, he is improving which is great and I cannot wait to get back to work. I have been on a few Zoom calls with CAPA as we are currently looking for a new lobbyist and currently have seven proposals to choose from. There will also be a virtual convention coming up at the end of this month. I will share more details on that in a week or two. Wayne, I know has been working hard and getting all the location's new product the margins are a bit lower, but you all are clearly selling. Let’s keep it up and reach out to Wayne or me for any inventory needs. I have been looking at other closeouts for Tv’s, tools and electronics. I cannot believe it, but Christmas is right around the corner and want to have our showrooms fully stocked. Gratefully, Stan Lukowicz, III

A Letter from the General Manager Greetings Everyone, We have reached the end of the 3rd quarter! Sooner than we know, it will be the end of 2020. Historically, this is the time of year going into fall where we see many back to school sales, loan growth and change in sun up hours. With the continued challenges, we maintain strong and are persevering! Finishing the month of September, we were able to see the first largest physical loan growth of the year. This is great news! We are looking months ahead to follow September’s numbers to help bring back some consistency in our daily operations. In the last two months, some kudos are much deserved in the sales department. While the pace in loans have slowed down a bit, Florin has managed to sell over 100k in both August and September. This is quite impressive! While this is possible, the top leaders for the month were Dominic Tognolini who sold $36,950.20, Marcos Barragan $22,696.60 and Paul Molina $21,191.74. Fantastic job everyone. I know by the demands of each store that jewelry has been a top seller however, many of the stores are lite on just about everything. As we power forward, we have much to be proud of. We continue to receive prompt messaging online, and we can serve our clients’ needs digitally more than ever! Our reviews continue to represent our service and value given. It is obvious that the trajectory of our company is heading in the right direction despite the hurdles and challenges that we have faced. Many other businesses have come to a complete stop or have closed permanently. Sadly, this is a realization for these businesses during these times. For Loyalty, the sun rises every day, and we continue to have the opportunity for each one of us to be our best. We are all grateful to our pawn family who engage in the company’s success and we are overly optimistic for what’s in store in the near future! Sincerely, Wayne Silliman General Manager “Your level of success is determined by your level of discipline and perseverance” 3

Florin Mall Hello Loyalty Pawn Family, I hope all is well and everyone is staying safe. Wow, I can believe we are going into our last quarter already. 2020 has been a very crazy year but that has not stopped us from doing what we do best. I just wanted to take a moment and recognize Team Florin for doing such a great job in sales in the last 2 months hitting over $100k in sales. We hit over $120k in sales last month, that is a record for us. Florin has a goal set for $1million in sales by the end of the year and we are doing everything we can to reach it. What is our secret well Team Florin has been in constant communication with our clients and keeping them informed every time we get new inventory? We utilize our call back binders; we also call our regular clients and follow up with them. Florin have a A-list customer that we stay in touch with also. We had a goal set for us in September and that is to grow in our loan balance, and we did. We grew over $53k in loans with our total store loan balance at $1.3mil. Well, the holidays are just around the corner so let’s continue to focus on those sales. I am also very excited to see Loyalty Lux opening at El Camino and with the launch of Pawnmate. This will be a big change for us, and it will make our LOANS, BUYS, SALES, and LAYAWAYS more efficient and faster to process. Let’s have an awesome October and an amazing last quarter everyone let’s end 2020 strong in this crazy pandemic year. Mark Xiong

We are really pushing to get new customers into the store and one of the best tools we have is google. So please make sure to give each store a review and 5

encourage your friends and family members to give reviews and add a photo or two to help promote inventory and the store locations. FUN FACT: "The Hunt For Red October," with Sean Connery, is the only film with 'October' in its title ever to win an Oscar (for best sound editing). Justin Martinez

Wow! The store is looking cleaned and organized thanks to Travis and Austin. They are working hard to keep everything in tip top shape. Thanks guys! This month our super sales men Josh has met his sales goal once again. Josh told What's Up Broadway that his sales come easy because he loves what he does. That's what we love to hear Josh! Let's see what else is happening... John the manager, has told us that they have beefed up security and have added roll up steel doors to protect the store. John let us know that, "Broadway will always land on their feet and will face anything that comes their way head on" Let's check in with Kirby. Looks like Kirby had been kicking ass and taking names. He is shining and cleaning jewelry faster then ever. Keep up the great work Kirby! We go live over to George who is helping our customers really think ahead for the holiday season. He is reminding everyone that they don't need to pay for everything up front and to use the awesome layaway program Broadway offers. Great thinking George! We have breaking news coming in! Monthly Birthstones This will help educate you about some of the more popular semi and precious stones we come across and it will also help you close some more sales. The idea is to educate you on next month’s birthstone as you can arrange your cases properly and make suggestions to our clients that may be browsing or even looking for a gift. Let’s think outside the box when utilizing this information

SEPTEMBER Sapphire, is the birthstone of September. The Sapphire can be found in almost every color including pink, yellow, green, etc but it is most desirable in its pure, rich blue color. In the Middle Ages, the gem was believed to protect those close to you from harm and also represented loyalty and trust. OCTOBER October has two birthstones; Tourmaline and Opal. Tourmaline is a favorite gemstone for many because it’s available in a rainbow of beautiful colors. Opal gemstones are truly unique because each individual gem is adorned with a one-of-a-kind color combination.

NOVEMBER November birthdays are associated with two gems; Citrine and Topaz. The warm color of Citrine is said to be a gift from the sun and it’s believed to be a healing gemstone. Topaz is most desired in its rich orange Imperial Topaz color but it is found in a variety of rich colors like blue, pink and yellow.

Loyalty Pawn Employee Services Corner October glows on every cheek, October shines in every eye, While up the hill and down the dale Her crimson banners fly. –Elaine Goodale Eastman (1863–1953) OCTOBER COVER UP It can be difficult to find silver linings within the COVID pandemic and in the tragic events that led to the renewed fight for social justice—although the latter, while long overdue, is a step in the right direction, perhaps one silver lining is the unified collective consciousness emerging in response to these catalysts demanding change. And it matters not that the Coronavirus does not care about anyone’s religious or spiritual ideologies—why should anyone care about the stopping the spread of this virus that has disrupted our activities of daily livingworldwide? Because we are all in this together. The one thing that we the people all have in common all. of. Us. is that we are all residents of planet Earth first and foremost. To be here in this now, on this planet, despite the pandemic, despite the kooky election year, despite the hostile fires forcing our air quality here in California at such dangerous levels not fit for human consumption, despite the cultural and political polarized diversities that seek to divide us, we the people of Loyalty Pawn, care deeply for one another despite this year’s topsy turvy chaos that would have you think otherwise. And though it really sucks having to don a face covering when in public, I am reminded that over 200k American lives lost due to COVID no longer have the luxury of reticence. It is not about me or how I look when I wear a face covering. It is not about me against the US Constitution and whether or not my civil rights are being violated because our local governments and community leaders dare ask me to cover up for public safety. It is not about me. It is not about you. Rather, it is about all residents of this amazing planet where we all reside. It is about caring enough to say to all of you, “ Hey, even though I’m not feeling sick, I might carry the virus and because I care about you my fellow human-brothers and sisters, my commitment, my participation in this pandemic era is that I will do my part to help ensure you are safe. This October, while we look for new and creative ways to enjoy Halloween with our littles, I challenge you all to “cover-up” by getting creative with your Halloween face coverings and remind your children that we cover up because we care about one another and that pandemics don’t last forever… CORONA VIRUS-COVID 19 California Update CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Sac County: https://www.saccounty.net/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx As many people in the United States begin to plan for fall and winter holiday celebrations, CDC offers the following considerations to help protect individuals, their families, friends, and communities from COVID19. These considerations are meant to supplement—not replace— any state, local, territorial, or health and safety laws, rules, and regulations with which holiday gatherings must comply. 13

When planning to host a holiday celebration, you should assess current COVID-19 levels in your community to determine whether to postpone, cancel, or limit the number of attendees. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/daily-life-coping/holidays.html HOW IT SPREADS It is thought to spread mainly from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Its spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus. The virus that causes COVID-19 is spreading very easily and sustainably between people. Information from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic suggests that this virus is spreading more quickly than influenza. If you have questions about COVID-19 and need assistance finding information online or clarification regarding the information, a statewide hotline number is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week at (833) 544-2374. Enjoy the month of October filled with all kinds of cool and spooky Halloween celebrations, good health prevention practices, and personal celebrations! Be safe!
