Thank you to everyone for all of the hard work that everyone puts in everyday! You guys are doing great with the new guidelines to remain open during COVID-19, so keep up the good work! Be sure to check out the sales that we are offering this month. Letter from the President Team Loyalty, Is 2020 over yet??? Congratulations to all teams October was the first month of 2020 that all stores had loan growth, that is amazing. The goal is to repeat that in November and December and end this crazy year as strong as possible with our loan balance. We grew over 5% in our loan balance, way to go!! My prediction on these next two months is we will have a busy loan transaction couple of months like our October was. I feel that the federal government will come up with a stimulus package for the American people at some point after the election, no matter who wins the election. I do not think that we will have the drop in our loan balance due to this stimulus package because of the holiday season that is upon us already and it could not have come soon enough. This is just my opinion and I feel that everyone in the world wants 2020 over but at the same time want to enjoy the holiday season with the hopes of ending 2020 on a high note, at least I do. I also feel that will help our sales numbers. So, let's get our sales caps on and try to beat last year's sales numbers in the months of November and December!! A few ways we can do that is work those call back binders and encourage layaway pickups. We will do our best in getting you the product so we can hit those sales numbers. I have sourced about a dozen higher end watches and about $125,000 worth of diamond basics jewelry, meaning diamond studs, bracelets, necklaces, pendants and more. Let Wayne, Javier or myself if you have any ideas on where we can get more product on our floors. Thank you to everyone for all your hard work, patience, and commitment to our Loyalty Pawn Family and for putting up with this crazy year, welcome to the holiday season. Gratefully, Stan Lukowicz, III

A Letter from the General Manager Greetings Everyone! It’s great to see business picking up again! This is something to profoundly celebrate! We have all been anxiously waiting for a turnaround In the pace of business and October was a success! It was also nice to see Broadway do excellent in sales. Also, something to mention about Broadway is for the month of October, they had the most in new customers in the whole company. Way to go Broadway!! Please feel free to share your success’s in gaining new customers with our leadership teams. We are incredibly happy to see new and more foot traffic in the stores. Like always, we love to mention the top sales performers of the month. In October, Dominic Tognolini got first place. John Mark was 2nd place and Josh Bonton received 3rd . Dominic sold $38,117.00, John sold $30,189.00 and Josh sold $18232.00. Way to go team! In October, we were able to move quite a bit of jewelry. I expect that we will be selling much more through the holiday season. We are working on finishing up the luxury room at El Camino and anticipate the opening very soon. Much hard work has gone into this. I would like to sincerely thank, Javier, Tony, John, Justin, Jose, Mark and many others who contributed their time in helping with the organizing, cleanup, moving and building of our luxury room. This has taken a lot of thought for the proper layout and we know that the finished product will be worth the efforts. Like many other projects we tend to jump into, our values shine from the beginning to the end of the project. Thanks again teams! To conclude, the dust has not settled yet, but things are looking much clearer! We have seen a return of items, people and steady uptick in business. But we have also seen the social jitters when it comes to covid19 and the soon to be election. We know that these times are filled with anticipation and the unknown. I have heard many ask, “What’s going to happen next”? What we know is, our commitment is unwavering during this pandemic. Our teams are certainly exuding our values and are continuing to be open minded for what awaits. Loyalty Pawn is excellent at powering forward. Along the bumpy road, we may have had a flat tire or two, but we will continue persevering and overcoming the challenges before us. Adapting and changing with the times is not new to us. We are willing and ready to end 2020 with pawn family success! Sincerely, Wayne Silliman General Manager “No great achiever – even those who made it seem easy – ever succeeded without hard work.”– Johnathan Sacks

Shop Talk Manager Updates El Camino Team Loyalty, Well, another month has flown by hope everyone had a great and safe Halloween. As we begin our last quarter of the year its crunch time for all of us from re-stocking inventory for the upcoming holidays to holiday radio till Christmas. We all know how much we love "Mariah Carey Christmas playlist" I know I'll be playing it in the LUX room. Speaking of Loyalty Luxury, I wanted to say thank you all who attended and helped with the nightwork to accomplish a beautiful and luxurious showroom. We do have high aspirations on finally tearing down the curtains and doing a soft opening mid-November. I'm very excited to finally see something up and running after just talking about it 8 months ago. This just proves "If we set a goal in mind, we could all accomplish it by working on it together" and remember why shoot for the sky when there's footprints on the moon. As far as El Camino there has been some exciting changes with a couple team members, congratulation Ramsey on his promotion of third key hold and Joseph which will be transferring to Roseville. I'm sad to lose a great comical but hard-working team member, you're going to do great Joe! Also, we are still hiring just a reminder if anyone is looking for an exciting position please have them apply asap. That’s all from Team Elco and let's have a productive and prosperous month! Tony Mora

Florin Mall Hello Loyalty Pawn Family, I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Wow I can't believe it, the year is almost over. Great news Florin was able to hit $1.4mil in loan balance and we are super excited. Florin also had a Halloween Waffle and Daffle for the last 2 weeks of October and was able to collect $900 in sales. Mike Xiong was able to sell 2 lucky winning tickets and Paul sold 1. Great job to team Florin for pushing the daffle. I hope everyone had a safe Halloween. Great job to Broadway for hitting first place in sales. Christmas is just around the corner and it is the time to push those Christmas sales. Florin will be a doing a Thanksgiving give away at the end of the month to 1 lucky winner. Have a wonderful holiday and stay safe everyone? Mark Xiong

Roseville Hello Team Loyalty, I hope everyone had a fun Halloween and is continuing to stay safe. The Roseville team is looking forward to having a great (maybe a little unconventional) holiday sales season. November marks the start of the spending season and we all know this year will be a little different then years past. We are running a bit soft on inventory, but we can be creative on sourcing products. I would encourage everyone to look online, on Facebook, Offer-Up, Let-Go, etc., and find items that we can sell. If you find something online you think we can sell in the store send the seller an offer and ask them to come in and let’s make a deal happen. We need to adapt with the times and there are avenues we can use to find products that we may not have been utilizing to the fullest in the past. Be creative! Fun Facts: Parker Brothers introduced the world to the Monopoly game on November 5, 1935 and on November 18, 1963, Bell Telephone Company introduced to the public the first push button phone. Justin Martinez

Broadway Hello Everyone, Welcome one and all the Broadway manor. We ask that you keep your eyes open as sales have a way of popping out when u least expect it. Josh, our terrifying great salesmen has been startling people for 17 weeks now with his sales totals. During this spooky time our staff is faced with the scariest task of all... preparing for the holiday season! Brace yourself, it comes in the night and stays for months. That's right December 25th! We are letting our customers know to mask and glove up and start preparing now. At Broadway Manor we have a layaway program that will help defeat the horrors of the holiday season! But you will want to hurry before all our inventory disappears. So, while you carve your pumpkin and plan your best costume remember the holiday season is not as scary as you think. We thank you for entering Broadway manor... We hope we didn't give you nightmares. John Mark

West Sacramento Hello Team, Team west sac is proud to be beating last year's sales month to date and year to date. We also have been working hard on our layaway balance and it's paying off we are finally over $50,000 and we are going to keep building it up. We have a goal for our loan balance for the end of the year to hit 375k with a stretch goal of 400k. We are reevaluating each loan, increase returning loans (whenever possible), properly qualifying clients, and the most import one is letting our clients know they are always welcome to pay the interest and the loan is good for 4 months. Brandy, Norma, and Jennifer are each doing an awesome job with their own offer up and Facebook marketplace, each one is very competitive and eager for sales. Jason has been taking care of eBay operations and getting a lot of knowledge of different items, if you ever have a question about comic books and sports memorabilia, please give Jason a call. Please help promote the eBay store by sharing it on social media. We continue to wear a facemask and sanitize as frequently as possible. Please stay safe and healthy. Jose Velazquez

Monthly Birthstones This will help educate you about some of the more popular semi and precious stones we come across and it will also help you close some more sales. The idea is to educate you on next month’s birthstone as you can arrange your cases properly and make suggestions to our clients that may be browsing or even looking for gift. Let’s think outside the box when utilizing information

a this

OCTOBER October has two birthstones; Tourmaline and Opal. Tourmaline is a favorite gemstone for many because it’s available in a rainbow of beautiful colors. Opal gemstones are truly unique because each individual gem is adorned with a one-of-a-kind color combination.

NOVEMBER November birthdays are associated with two gems; Citrine and Topaz. The warm color of Citrine is said to be a gift from the sun and it’s believed to be a healing gemstone. Topaz is most desired in its rich orange Imperial Topaz color but it is found in a variety of rich colors like blue, pink and yellow.

DECEMBER December birthdays have claim to three gemstones; Zircon, Tanzanite and Turquoise. Each of these gemstones carries a unique blue tone making it a perfect birthstone for Minnesota’s frigid December winters. Zircon can be found in a variety of colors, but blue is the overwhelming favorite.

Loyalty Pawn Employee Services Corner And the dead leaves lie huddled and still, No longer blown hither and thither; The last lone aster is gone; The flowers of the witch-hazel wither … –Robert Frost (1874-1963). November come hither…was the ninth month of the ancient Roman calendar and has retained its name from the Latin novem, meaning "nine." In Finland, they call November marraskuu, which translates as "the month of the dead." It is one of four months with a length of 30 days on the Gregorian, or modern, calendar. In the United States and Canada, November is also known as National Beard Month or No Shave Month (also known as "No-Shave November") as a way to raise cancer awareness. Australians have a similar month where they grow a mustache instead of a full beard. November Birthstone: Topaz, a semi-precious stone that symbolizes friendship, is found in many colors, but it is the orange-yellow version that is the traditional birthstone for November. Citrine, which is DID YOU KNOW…

actually a quartz crystal that ranges from yellow to orange in color, is considered another November birthstone. It is often mistaken for the orange-yellow topaz, which is the more expensive of the two stones. November Flower: The flower for the month of November is the chrysanthemum. The word chrysanthemum comes from the Greek words chrys and anthemum, meaning golden flower. In the language of flowers, chrysanthemum is considered to symbolize honesty, joy, and optimism. November Astrology Signs: Scorpio and Sagittarius are the astrological signs for November. Birthdays from November 1st through the 21st fall under the Scorpio sign. November 22nd through November 30th birthdays fall under the sign of Sagittarius

DIWALI 2020: WHAT IS DIWALI?

Diwali (also called Divali or Deepavali) is a “festival of lights” that celebrates the triumph of light over dark and good over evil, and the blessings of victory, freedom, and enlightenment. The name comes from Sanksrit dipavali, meaning “row of lights.” On the night of Diwali, celebrants light dozens of candles and clay lamps (called diyas), placing them throughout their homes and in the streets to light up the dark night. In most of India, Diwali consists of a five-day celebration that peaks on the third day with the main celebration of Diwali. In other places where Diwali occurs, usually only the main day is celebrated.
