Team Loyalty!! Thank you to everyone, you guys are doing great with the new guidelines to remain open during COVID-19, so keep up the good work! Letter from the President Team Loyalty, First the Virus and then the rioting and looting. I want to say we have been through a lot and we have been able to stick to all our Vision, Values and Goals. I would like to take a moment to mention George Floyd and express my sympathy to him and his family. I also support the protests, but I cannot support the crime via looting, destruction, theft, and countless other murders that has happened since the beginning of these protests. I do understand how emotions can sometimes make any of us do things that we normally would not ever consider doing. We do as a society need to make some tremendous changes in how we treat each other. It is my hope that through peaceful protesting, some effective legislation not only at the state level but also the federal level and some good old fashion care and consideration for one another. We also need to have some extra consideration and compassion to groups like Black Lives Matter which I believe they have the best intention and hope that they will be a leader in the new movement to help with equality for all no matter what color, religion or preference a person may have. My heart goes out to all the victims from Mr. Floyd, to law enforcement officers and even to the small businesses. Every one of us has been affected to one degree or another. Loyalty Pawn with all our challenges we have faced recently is moving forward with many new and exciting projects. The El Camino and the Roseville locations are getting closer and closer to getting Loyalty Luxury up and running. All locations have done a tremendous job with organizing and rearranging our back rooms. We need to continue with that organization as needed. Our loans will come back and when they do, they will come back extremely fast and the backrooms will fill up fast. Thank You to everyone for the extra work we have been putting in and for all your resolve during these unprecedented times. Gratefully, Stan Lukowicz, III

A Letter from the General Manager Greetings everyone! Well, 2020 Is sure interesting so far. We have been challenged thus far the whole year. We have had many challenges before, and I hope with the covid19 this will be a blip in history. As we all continue to plug along, please remember that we created our vision, values, and goals to guide us not only through the excellent times but through tumultuous ones as well. If there is any time to spread kindness and empathy, this is that time. We have stood behind our products, pawn family, and values and tend to do so moving forward. We all have much to look forward to in future success. We will continue persevering with abundant Loyalty, Dedication, and Creativity while expanding our pawn family. With everything going on, we always enjoy recognizing our top 3 sales producers! 1st place Dominic T. with a whopping $47,069.34 2nd place Josh Bonton $14,152.88 and 3rd place Ramsey Lewis at $12,760.02. Given the new environment, it's still nice to see our client's interest in many of our deals. The stores are all getting a little bare, but I have a feeling that this will be temporary. Thank you, Teams!! I wanted to make sure to bring up safety and security with everyone. At the very end of the month, we had some rioters vandalize the Broadway location. A large group of people broke our front glass, destroyed our showcases, damaged instore registers, electronics, stole a bunch of inventory, and scrambled away. We already have some leads with the Sacramento Police Department, and we are optimistic. We are very fortunate that nobody was hurt during this flash looting. We are all paying attention to those coming and going and are monitoring each other when arriving and leaving from work. Please continue to be cognizant of your surroundings when coming and going from work and remember, we always come in pairs and leave the store in pairs. Please stay safe! To conclude, we are especially excited about moving forward with both our El Camino and Roseville store expansion. Rest assured; Loyalty Pawn isn't going anywhere! We have the ball rolling and now we want to see the finalized product! We have much work to do but it certainly is not anything that we can't handle together. Sincerely, Wayne Silliman General Manager

Shop Talk Manager Updates El Camino Team Loyalty, Team El Camino in continuing to work hard and taking complete advantage of this time to go through every inch of this store. I invite all of you guys to come see our progress and what we have accomplished in a short time. We are still handing out those loan guarantee cards out like crazy and are prepared for all those loans to come back. More progress has been done to the expansion project over here with new and improved shelves that have gone up. This store is definitely moving in the right direction in becoming functional. I would like to send out a huge thanks to John Mark for all the help here. Also do not forget to tune on Fridays to see us go live on Facebook. Javier Becerra

Florin Mall Hello Loyalty Pawn Family, Wow I can’t believe we are already halfway into 2020 already. This was a pretty challenging year with all this Covid-19 and chaos going on. I hope that everyone is staying safe and continue to practice social distancing. Well for Florin we did little over $67k in sales for the month of May. We have shrunk in our loan balance and is now sitting at $1.3mil. Jennifer Rodriguez is coming up to her 3rdmonth with us here and she is learning a lot. As all other location we have been cleaning and making shelving space in our warehouse and waiting for that tsunami of loans coming back in, we are ready and prepared. I hope everyone is staying safe with all this chaos going on. I would encourage everyone to reach out to David Palomares if you haven’t already and congratulate him and his wife with their first newborn boy. David is excited with their new bundle of joy and is showing us updated picture and his son as he continues to grow. We are so excited for him and his family. “If 202 is telling us anything… It’s telling us to enjoy the moment we have, and don’t take any day, anything or anyone for granted.” Mark Xiong

Roseville Hello Team Loyalty, I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. The Roseville store is very excited to have the new showroom finished and looking awesome. The customers seem to love the new look and layout of the store. If you have not been to Roseville to see all the new changes yet, please come by and check us out. We are also making some good headway with the city of Roseville on the Luxury store. We just need to finish the layout of the new store, get everything signed off and we will be ready to launch Lux. I am so proud of the Roseville Team and all the hard work that has gone into both sides of our location. I also want to give a big thank you to everyone that has helped out, we could not do it without you. Thank you! Please continue to be safe and we will get through this together. Justin Martinez 6

Broadway Hello Everyone, Hello Broadway fans the past month has been crazy to say the least. From Covid-19 to killer hornets and now the current unrest, it has left us with much uncertainty. Well I’m here to tell you Broadway is here to stay, and we will be stronger than ever. We had the strongest sales month in May then we have had in the last three years. Several of the staff also have hit personal bests and surpassing their own goals. We have a tough road ahead of us repairing and bettering ourselves from the destruction of the riots, but I know if there is a team who can do it is team Broadway. Stay Safe Stay Healthy Loyalty Is The B-way John Mark

West Sacramento Hello Team, Another month under the belt. This will be the last month of the second quarter, can you believe the half of the year went by already. Here at West Sac, we welcome back Victor Reyes, he was helping out Team Florin. Our showroom looks pretty empty and so does our warehouse, but it has given us the opportunity to clean, organize, and re-bin, we have also seen an increase on repairs, our clients are delighted with the work. I want to give a huge shout out to all of our team members for enrolling our clients for text messages, let's keep it up and make it a goal to have ZERO paper notices!!! We are also getting more familiar with eBay operation and its ins and outs, another shout out for having the items clean and tested. I wish everyone well and Loyalty Pawn will be here through these uncertain times to help out our community with our Vision, Values, and Goals. Jose Velazquez

Monthly Birthstones This will help educate you about some of the more popular semi and precious stones we come across and it will also help you close some more sales. The idea is to educate you on next month’s birthstone as you can arrange your cases properly and make suggestions to our clients that may be browsing or even looking for a gift. Let’s think outside the box when utilizing this information

May Emerald, the birthstone of May, carries the rich green color of Spring and radiates a beautiful vivid tone. They are considered to be a symbol of rebirth and love. Emeralds are the rarest gemstones and are typically mined in Colombia, Brazil, Afghanistan and Zambia. JUNE Pearl and Alexandrite June birthdays claim two birthstones; pearl and Alexandrite. Pearls have been wildly popular in jewelry for centuries because of their natural beauty. Alexandrite gemstones are extremely rare and desirable since they change color based on the lighting. JULY Rubies, the birthstone of July, are considered the king of gems and represent love, health and wisdom. It was believed wearing a fine red Ruby bestowed good fortune on its owner. A Ruby is the most valuable gemstone and its value increases based on its color and quality.

Loyalty Pawn Employee Services Corner When is the First Day of Summer? The first day of summer arrives with the solstice on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 2:44pm PDT. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this marks the longest day of the year and the moment when the Sun reaches the Tropic of Cancer, its highest point. For those who live in the Southern Hemisphere this is the shortest day of the year and the arrival of winter-think down under like Australia, Tasmania, or New Zealand. The solstice happens at the same moment for everyone, everywhere on Earth. Longest Day of the Year-Shortest Shadow Be sure to look at your noontime shadow around the time of the solstice. It will be your shortest noontime shadow of the year! JUNE Zodiac Signs Gemini: June 1 to June 20 and Cancer: June 20 – July 22. The two zodiac signs associated with the month of June are the Gemini and Cancer. For those born from June 1st to June 20th, they are members of the Gemini zodiac sign. Social, talkative, and familiar with trends, the Gemini is one of the most outgoing zodiac signs! CORONA VIRUS-COVID 19 Sacramento County Update CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Sac County: https://www.saccounty.net/COVID-19/Pages/default.aspx Interestingly enough, we are not out of the COVID 19 woods despite best efforts by California Governor, Gavin Newsome to allow many businesses in retail, fitness, and restaurant to reopen. Currently as of Memorial Day, May 25, 2020 these are our COVID 19 statistics for Sacramento County, California, the US, and the planet overall: Did you know? COVID-19 is caused by a coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness. HOW IT SPREADS- It is thought to spread mainly from person to person, mainly through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Its spread is more likely when people are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet). It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus. The virus that causes COVID-19 is spreading very easily and sustainably between people. Information from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic suggests that this virus is spreading more quickly than influenza. If you have questions about COVID-19 and need assistance finding information online or clarification regarding the information, a statewide hotline number is available 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., 7 days a week at (833) 544-2374.
