Loyalty Pawn Family

Hello Loyalty Family,

First of all, I would like to congratulate the candidates that applied for the leadership position and those who got it. Being a leader is an exciting new challenge, but great leaders don’t set out to be a leader… They set out to make a difference. It’s never about the role. Always about the goal. With that being said congratulations to Travis the new assistant manager for Florin, Jason assistant manager of the West Sac location and Ricardo for his new Senior SLA position. There will be great expectations set forth for all of you but I am confident that with the help of your teams and living our vision, values, goals and utilizing all the tools provided to you guys this transition will be seamless and great benefit to the stores you will now be calling your new home. Best of luck gentlemen and much success in your new roles. “Always be the change you the change you wish to see.” (Gandhi)

This month we’re going to get to know Earnest Bryson one of Florin’s newest SLA’s. Earnest has been part of the Loyalty Pawn Family since October of 2018. Since then he has really grasped the ability to turn deals and eager to learn new things about the business. Since his hire he’s been a top performer not only for the Florin store but for the entire company. Some of his future aspiration for his career plans in the company are to someday run his own store. Currently one his goals is to be the salesman of the company. He has already read the Munchies for Salespeople. He says a lot of information about closing sales and getting to know people’s interest in what’s important to them to get them to make purchases. If he had one piece of advice to give to a new hire it would be to read this book. What he really enjoys about the Pawn industry is that he gets to help out people every day that might be struggling a little bit. We can definitely make a difference in that person’s day. Earnest was born 12.29.1987 here in Sacramento he is the youngest of two, him and his older brother Xavier are pretty close in age and grew up pretty close and they talk every day. As a kid he enjoyed being outside playing and riding bikes. It seems that Earnest always had pawn brokers mentality because since a young age he was always looking on how to make money. He started his own lawn service at the age 11 years old he would tie his lawn mower to his bike and ride around to the neighbor’s houses to cut their grass. His first official job was at Quizno’s sandwiches and he’s self-proclaimed the best sandwich maker in Sacramento. One day while showing off his hoagies making skills the manager from Washington Mutual came in and offered him a job as a bank teller. His banking experience came to an end when Washington Mutual came to an end. He drove his ambitions to a different direction and got a job at Auto Zone this was right around the time he had his first child Vurzell. Auto Zone was a great experience that helped him homed in on his excellent customer service skills. After two years he moved to Washington state where he also worked for an auto parts store. Family is very important to Earnest his parents were living there at the time that’s why they decided to move. The move only last about 3 years and California was calling him back where he was able to get his job back at Auto Zone where they fast tracked him into manager. Being back Earnest and his fiancé Verniece added to their family within 5-year span they added their daughter Eavery and the youngest Earnest III. Just dealing with the struggles of everyday family life Earnest had to step away from Auto Zone and focus on his family. With a few jobs in between he has finally found his permanent home at Loyalty Pawn thanks to David from Florin. One day talking to Earnest David convinced him to apply and the rest as we say is history. I for one am thrilled that Earnest has joined our family and am looking forward to see where his ambition takes him.
