Letter from the General Manager
Greetings Everyone,
Happy New Year! We made it through ‘22’. This time every year, I like to take the time to reflect on our achievements, successes, and shortcomings. I think a little part of all of us hope that we will have a little less challenging of a year ahead. I often wonder how we have overcome the hurdles set before us. What I know is that we have a very dynamic flexible team. We have endured the woe of the economy, weather, pandemic, doom, and gloom news, and much more. Yet here we are. We have made it through another year. We will very soon embark on the 5th year of operating as Loyalty Pawn. This is exciting as it truly seems like 5 years was just a blink of an eye. We have shaken a little in the last couple of years but remain tall and strong.

With the ending of 2022, I would like to mention the top salesman for the month of December. The first place goes to Dominic T. Second place goes to Danni R. and the third place goes to Paul M. Great job for December team. Roseville especially broke through December by hitting the 100k mark! With that being said, the top three salesmen who qualify for the quarterly higher % bonus are Dominic (first place) Danni (second place), and Norma (third place). Congratulations! May your future sales bonuses be fruitful in the first quarter of 2023.
We have kept a steady pace through the last 6 months. While maintaining the company’s VVG’s, there is no doubt that the business line that was the most impacted in this shaky economy was our retail sales. We still have a very strong inventory book with a depleting layaway balance. On average, our locations secured 10:2 ratio of items being sold. The 10:2 represents 10 general items sold to 2 jewelry items sold. This data is an average over many months. Some months were better and some worse. This data also represents the continued need for gm items to be considered through our qualification process rather than turning away clients or products. Our continued outlets have not dried up to move our inventory so let’s continue to bargain and have fun making transactions.
Have a Happy New Year!
