Letter from the President Happy Holidays Team Loyalty, I first would like to say that I hope all of our Loyalty Family had a great Thanksgiving and a great start to this crazy holiday season. Secondly, Merry Christmas to all of our Loyalty Pawn Family and each of your entire family. This has been a very trying year and I do hope that this holiday season is the best part of this year. Please be safe but also enjoy this holiday season. A huge shoutout to Javier and Team Elco for the tremendous job they did with the expansion of Loyalty Luxury. If you have not had a chance to see you should go by and check it out, it looks amazing!! There was a lot of help by many of our team members and for that I want to say Thank You to everyone. Now on to the work. November was a terrible sales month. We have the jewelry product and are now starting to pick up more general merchandise product at each location and we need to focus on Christmas sales. We can go back to the basics and work the call back binders, we can create text blasts and make those layaway calls. So, let’s work on sales this month we need to end this year with a strong sales month. Enough about sales. Congratulations to every store for the excellent loan growth, we are starting to see our loan balance grow again, which is what we are in business for so keep up the great work there. In closing have a great Christmas season, safe and filled with joy and as much family time as you can. I know that we at times we ask a lot from all of you but we do want for every member of the Loyalty Family to enjoy this holiday season and look forward to ending this crazy 2020 year and bring in 2021 with a bang and much hope for something back to normal!!! Merry Christmas, Stan Lukowicz, III

A Letter from the General Manager Season’s Greetings Everyone! We are almost there! December is right around the corner and this year will certainly be one to remember (or forget). It is amazing to see what we have accomplished with the weight on our shoulders. We saw the redeem wave, then the sales wave and now, we are seeing the loan growth wave. I hope the next large wave will be waving Covid19 goodbye! As always, we like to get down to the nuts and bolts of our sales for the month. Overall, the company had a soft November in sales. November was something we looked forward to help prime the sales for December. We were also surprised to see such a soft Black Friday week. However, we always like to mention the sales leaders for the month. In November, Dominic was first place selling $22,698. Second place goes to Joshua Bonton who sold $15,041 and third place goes to Joseph Contreras who sold $14,414.85. Great work gentlemen. If you have not seen the luxury department at El Camino, please drop by and check it out. This was a tremendous project help lead by Javier and Tony. Many hands helped with this project and we were able to successfully launch the opening on Black Friday. The idea of offering more luxury goods is a fantastic change to the El Camino location. We believe that offering this will showcase the value of our goods in a more positive light while being able to properly merchandise the jewelry and goods. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to maximize our product and value. We are looking forward to the growth opportunity at El Camino. To conclude, we can’t thank our teams enough for their continued hard work and dedication. We are very thankful to have each one of you working diligently to provide the highest standard of quality, commitment and value. Let’s end December Loyalty Strong! Sincerely, Wayne Silliman General Manager “It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping someone else succeed. –Napolean Hill

Monthly Birthstones This will help educate you about some of the more popular semi and precious stones we come across and it will also help you close some more sales. The idea is to educate you on next month’s birthstone as you can arrange your cases properly and make suggestions to our clients that may be browsing or even looking for a gift. Let’s think outside the box when utilizing this information

NOVEMBER November birthdays are associated with two gems; Citrine and Topaz. The warm color of Citrine is said to be a gift from the sun and it’s believed to be a healing gemstone. Topaz is most desired in its rich orange Imperial Topaz color but it is found in a variety of rich colors like blue, pink and yellow.

DECEMBER December birthdays have claim to three gemstones; Zircon, Tanzanite and Turquoise. Each of these gemstones carries a unique blue tone making it a perfect birthstone for Minnesota’s frigid December winters. Zircon can be found in a variety of colors, but blue is the overwhelming favorite.

Loyalty Pawn Employee Services Corner Finally, it is that time of the year Lights, eggnog, with all the Christmas cheer Father was singing noels Then hearing jingle bells Mother said, “It’s only the rain, dear” –Poem by G. Jay December is the 12th month (and last month) in our modern-day Gregorian calendar (as it was in the preceding Julian calendar). However, it was originally the 10th month of the Roman calendar (until 153 BC). Hence, “December” comes from the Latin word decem, meaning “ten.” Back in Roman times, the calendar only had ten months and began with March! The winter period was not even assigned months because it was not an active time for military, agriculture, or civil life.

The month of December originally consisted of 30 days. When January and February were added to the calendar (around 700 BCE), December was shortened to 29 days. Then, in the subsequent Julian calendar, two days were added to December, making it 31 days long. So, now you know! Source-Farmer’s Almanac .

DID YOU KNOW… December 6 is Saint Nicholas Day. St. Nicholas, the patron saint of children, inspires traditions around the world from hunts for presents to stockings or shoes filled with sweets. December 7 is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. December 10 marks the beginning of Hanukkah. The 8-night festival of lights begins at sundown on the 10th and ends at sundown on the 18th. December 13is St. Lucia’s Day, which has long been associated with festivals of light. Before the Gregorian calendar reform in 1752, her feast day occurred on the shortest day of the year (hence the saying “Lucy light, Lucy light, shortest day and longest night”). December 15 is Bill of Rights Day. December 17 is Wright Brothers Day. December 21 is the Winter Solstice—the astronomical first day of winter in the Northern Hemisphere and first day of summer in the Southern Hemisphere. December 25 is Christmas Day, both a Secular/Pagan, and Christian holiday celebration December 26 is Boxing Day (Canada, UK) and the first day of Kwanzaa. On the last evening of the year, December 31, kiss the person you hope to keep kissing! 2020 | END OF YEAR DUE DATES December 1 - Time for Year-End Tax Planning -December is the month to take final actions that can affect your tax result for 2020.
