Letter from the President
Hey Team Loyalty,
THANK YOU for all you do. We are currently reading a book How to Win Friends & Influence People, by Dale Carnegie originally published in 1937, a Timeless Bestseller. It is as relevant today as it was 80+ years ago for business as well as personal goals. One of the most important take-aways for me is to always know and feel “YOU ARE IMPORTANT” - each and every one of us; feeling important not only in your work environment but in all of our personal lives as well. We have family and friends that care for us and that we care for, while our careers are and should be important, FAMILY COMES FIRST! The principals in this book will be life changing if the values come from the heart. I plan to use them in my day to day professional and personal life and suggest to you all to pick up a copy, borrow mine (I have notes made in mine) or let your manager know you are interested in reading it as they all have a copy. If you are interested in being part of our book club or start your own store level book club please let us know and invite any Loyalty Team members to be included. You can never read too much.

We had a phenomenal November which is all due to the incredible team work that is happening at each and every store on a daily basis (not that we all do not hit some bumps occasionally, life happens). Our loan numbers are continually improving, our retail sales are improving, layaway balances growing, buy balances are also growing. These are all great accomplishments and important for our company growth. Every area of these KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) are critical and some teams perform better than others but we should all be aware of these KPI’s and continue to grow and learn from the teams that are excelling in certain areas to improve each location and have a true standard to measure our successes.
I plan to use the tools I learned in Carnegie’s book to improve upon my life on all fronts and I am looking forward to seeing the improvements for all of us. I do want to make sure that we all think about ourselves and each other in the sense that I, YOU, AND WE ARE IMPORTANT every day. I am sometimes hard on myself and do not always feel that way when I do not complete a goal or do not hit one of my KPI’s in business or life and I truly feel that that if we all feel IMPORTANT every day and we have committed to trying our best as a person, we will all feel IMPORTANT and that is a win-win. We all have the ability to achieve every day.
Can I say more about Team Loyalty? As I write these letters every month and I see our progress, I try to write about as many as possible and about all the tremendous wins we have had as a company. Though is difficult to mention every accomplishment and every team member, know your dedication is not overlooked. The truth is that everyone has contributed to our success, whether it was your hard work, your creative input, your late nights or whatever it was; we as a TEAM are continuing to build a great culture that I hope we all are excited to come to work and continue to build the Loyal Service, Committed People, Everyday Satisfaction culture for ourselves, our teams, our clients and our families.
Thank You, Team Loyalty for making me feel IMPORTANT, I am truly blessed to be part of this team and will continue to do my best to lead Loyalty Pawn into the future of our ever growing and changing industry.
