WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
“I successfully completed the LLM program in International Business Corporate and Finance Law at LJMU this year. LJMU ensures students learn about how to prepare for their future and the world of work before they graduate. This focus on employability and our future was engrained in my course. One thing I found beneficial was engaging in practical discussions during lectures and learning from highly competent lecturers in their respective fields. This greatly contributed to my comprehension of various legal systems and helped me decide on what I wanted to do when I graduated.
My future plan is to continue my career as a Qualified Solicitor in the UK and strive to excel in my field.”
Kerim Altinalana
Turkish graduate of LLM International Business and Finance Law.

“After completing my undergraduate degree and previously studying in Italy and the USA, I made the decision to pursue my MSc in Forensic Anthropology at LJMU in 2021.
I began my employment journey with Unitemps as an International Student Ambassador. Thanks to this opportunity I secured fulltime roles at LJMU, starting with a 3-month post as a Research Assistant at the Public Health Institute, followed by 6 months as a Customer Service Advisor with the Student Advice and Wellbeing team. I then transitioned to supporting the Admissions team, handling health course inquiries for 6 months, before a second research assistant role at the Liverpool Centre of Advanced Policing for 6 months.
Currently, I am engaged in a fullyear internship with the Corporate Communications team at LJMU which began in July 2023. Being taught by amazing professionals in the field and my exposure to diverse work environments within the university has significantly enhanced my skill set.”
Isabella McNamara Cantalano
Italian graduate of MSc Forensic Anthropology
