Our staff are highly trained specialists and our systems are second to none.
A reception team to ensure your call is directed to the appropriate person and book in any potential tenants for open homes. Reception also assist the PIM team with administration work when required.
A Leasing Agent whose only role is solely to lease properties. Available 5 days a week to show and process applications, ensuring we have minimal vacancy periods. With the ability to conduct upwards of 25 open homes a week, renting your home to the best tenants in the shortest possible time is always the priority.
A Divisional Manager to ensure systems and procedures are in place allowing the team to work in the most effective and positive environment. Also working with the team to implement new initiatives to get the most for your investment.

Having reliable and affordable tradespeople on call to take care of repairs promptly and professionally keeps tenants on side and your asset in prime condition.
Tenants log a repair using our online property portal, triggering an alert to both the landlord and the LJ Hooker property management team.
We then contact the relevant trades person and arrange to have the repair carried out at a competitive price - pronto. Tenants are also provided with a list of 24 hour emergency contacts.

steps to get your house ready for lease
Achieving the best outcome for your property is all about presentation, promotion and positioning. The effort you make to prepare your house for lease now will not only impress visitors at open-for-inspections, but also result in far more appealing photos – and these days it’s the images people see online that can drive potential tenants to your property. Follow these simple tips to present your home in its best light and you’re already a step ahead of the competition.
Make a great first impression
LJ Hooker can arrange a professional stylist for you, but if you’re taking on this task yourself take inspiration from magazines and online resources such as Houzz or Pinterest to make your house look its best. Updating cushions and adding plants and vases of flowers can make a big difference. 1 2 3 4 5
Stand well back from your house and take a good look – if the garden needs a tidy up, the trim needs repainting or the front gate has seen better days, now is the time to get those jobs done. Weeds and peeling paint are an instant turn-off. Aim for a home that looks well maintained and easy to care for.
Inclusions - what you leave behind
Have a think about any items that you could leave in the home to add value. Does the kitchen have space for a dishwasher, or does the laundry have a specific size for a washing machine that tenants could struggle to fill? You might be better off leaving these items, rather than expecting tenants to buy their own.
Make it sparkling clean
Don’t just do the basics, a proper spring clean sets the benchmark high for your property to be returned in good condition. Tenants instantly pick up on cooking and pet smells, dusty shelves and grimy bathrooms are not appealing when they visit a property, so do whatever it takes to clean your house thoroughly inside and out.
It’s all about the presentation
Make sure your property is looking great for photos. New paint, carpet and fittings can be an effective way to update a property, so can a new bathroom or kitchen. Adding in heating and/or cooling can add value and maximise return. Don’t forget the outsidemake sure to mow, sweep and prune the garden, take care of pests if necessary.
