Originally from South Africa and having studied to be a chartered accountant, Roelien has a sound understanding of business and working in a high pressure environment, which has further been displayed in her time in the field of Forensic Services. Ian previously managed his own business in the entertainment industry for more than 17 years and also has extensive property development experience. In fact, Team Powell have done a successful development application on an eco-cabin development in the Gold Coast Hinterland. Roelien and Ian have spent over $100,000 in real estate personal development, including various development and investment training as well as Property Option Strategies.
They have acquired properties in 3 different continents (Australia, Africa and America), so they understand the stress that can come with buying property internationally.

• Negotiating the purchase on your behalf
As we are negotiating these transactions frequently we understand and know what the main considerations that need to be addressed through the offer process
• The contract process
Once under contract, attend all inspections on your behalf or with you, including pest and building inspections and pre-settlement inspection. If any concerns identified during those inspections, we negotiate on your behalf with the assistance of your solicitors
• Settlement Day
We are available to pick up keys and deliver to you at settlement if required.

• Would the contract be subject to finance or sale of your property
Knowing your conditions can help us to negotiate your contract and put you in the drivers seat when it comes to putting in an offer.
• Any other details to assist us with the search
We want to know the finer details - this may include style of homes, contract terms and settlement terms.




Fee Structure
Our fee includes:
• Searching for and evaluating properties
• Negotiating the purchase price and contract conditions
• Attending all necessary appointments
• Managing the settlement process.
Our fee is 2% of purchase price, and is made in 2 installments:
• Upfront fee of $5,000 This amount is non refundable if you ultimately choose not to purchase a property.
• Balance payable at settlement of the property.
