EDUCATION
2017-2020 2021-2023
In High School, I engaged in Honors and AP courses throughout the years and achieved an Honors Diploma. I also graduated early in December of 2020 with a diploma year of 2021. Another achievement, was the fact that I was awarded an academic student award for all four years.
I participated in the Architecture program with an emphasis in Residential Design. While attending this program I was awarded the “Outstanding Residential Design Student” award. Through hard work and dedication I was also on the dean’s list for outstanding grades.
PROJECT 01
Single Family Residence
In this project the goal was to create a residential home for a family of five. By listening to the clients wishes I was able to design a space that has an open floor plan for entertaining, all while creating a cozy space for the family. In order to make the home feel open I designed the space to have a loft on the second level and the rest of the floor open to below, with the opportunity to see the kitchen, living room, and dining room from the second floor. By achieveing this design the ceilings are also higher mkaing the space feel larger. All twelve plans were first hand drawn and then input into AUTOCAD. After all the drawings were finished, I began to build the final model. With the final model we photoshopped all elements needed, such as: stucco, brick, landscape, shingles, etc.
PROJECT 02
In this project, we were given a site lo cation, which was in Downtown Reno overlooking the Truckee River. The lot was located in between two other large buildings. There was a couple of client wishes which included: a scenery to the Truckee River, and the retirement home must be blocked from view while inside. A lot of thought went into the topography of the neighboorhood and how to incorporate a new building into this lot.
Break Away Coffee Shop
In this design I wanted the coffee shop to have multiple functions and be an interacting space for many to gather. In the coffee shop there are areas that are dedicated for different functions. The areas are the pick-up area, a lounge for relaxation, a cubicle for two people to gather and study or have quiet time, as well as a covered patio if the customers decide they would like to drink their coffee while enjoying the beautiful view of the River.
PROJECT 03
In this project we had the ability of thinking out of the world! Based on an object we picked we had to create a spacecship out of it, The object I picked was a mirror and candle holder. Through subtracing and adding mass I was able to transform an object I found into a spaceship. The spaceship has solar panels on the outside in order to generate electrictiy. There is one main section which is three levels. The first level was the engine room, the second level was the Bedroom and Bathroom, the third level was the command center. There are 8 pods that are able to detach from the spaceship. The pods are constructed with glass all around in order for the visitors to en joy space and receive a one time experience. Each pod serves a different purpose (art, education, gym, etc).
