After a gruelling day of delivery in Stotfold our Delivery Boys had huge appetites. We decided to pop into Evin Kebeb & Pizza House, a familiar landmark on Stotfold High Street. With ample allocated parking it was easy to pull up in front of the shop and head on in.

Inside, we noticed the shop and counter area were immaculately clean, which is not surprising as the business was recently proud to announce it had received a Food Safety & Hygiene rating of 5.

Onto the food… After a quick look at the extensive menu board upon the wall, John decided to go for the ‘Combination Kebab’, a mixed two meat kebab, opting for chicken shish and doner. Andrew ordered the mighty ‘Evin Burger’, which consists of an astounding three ¼ pound burgers with three slices of cheese.

The food was expertly cooked in front of us over a flame grill, the aromas coming over the counter simply mouth-watering. Before your food is wrapped, you get to choose your ‘extras’ from the fresh array of salad & pickles (John opting for everything) and the wide range of sauces (chilli and garlic mayo our choice), we also ordered some french fries and soft drinks. With our takeaway securely wrapped and bagged we headed off so we could tuck-in. Onto the eating… The Evin Burger can only be described as magnificent both in size and taste. The burgers are succulent and tasty, and are perfectly complimented with the toasted bun, cheese, salad and ketchup. If you haven’t tried the Evin Burger yet, it’s definitely something you need on your ‘bucket list’.

Next up, the Combination Kebab, which was amazing! The marinated chargrilled chicken, the generous serving of doner meat, and the huge portion of mixed salad & pickles was a taste sensation.

Although we ordered our food in the shop, you can phone through your order for collection, and there is also free home delivery to Stotfold, Fairfield, Arlesey & Letchworth on orders above £12. What can we say, Evin really do produce delicious takeaway food, we highly recommend and look forward to returning in the near future!
