Fall is a beautiful time of year in Peachtree Corners. Memories of summer fun, outdoor concerts and long, hot days spent on the river or in the shade of local parks linger but give way to the anticipation of the upcoming winter holidays. And here, in the middle, we get to enjoy fabulous fall-flavored community events, such as the Peachtree Corners Festival and Bites over PTC, as well as cooler temperatures that invite us to spend as many sunny days outdoors as we can.
This year’s fall/winter season is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever in our city because, along with returning favorites, such as the PTC Decathlon and the
beloved Holiday Glow celebration, a few new happenings will make their big debuts.
An exciting Live Band Karaoke night on the Town Green, the Rescue Dog Games and Festival (coming to PTC for the first time) and the family-friendly Game Day Market (featuring an afternoon of college football, fun activities and an artist market) are just a few of the can’t-miss events coming up.
With so much to enjoy and celebrate, we wanted to follow up our go-to Spring/ Summer City Guide from April with this updated edition to help you make the most of what the city has to offer through the rest of 2025.
Whether you’re a longtime resident or just visiting, this issue is packed with everything you need to know
to enjoy Peachtree Corners to the fullest.
But the amazing events are just the beginning, of course.
Inside, we’re also sharing some of the latest news and stories from around the city, and you’ll find curated recommendations on where to eat, shop, work, stay and be fit and healthy — because we know that Peachtree Corners is more than a place to pass through. It’s a city full of energy, opportunity and wonderful neighbors.
So get cozy, dive in and plan out your own season of unforgettable moments. We’re happy to go along with you for the ride.
See you around town, Shawne Taylor, Managing Editor Peachtree Corners Magazine

From unconditional love to everyday companionship, dogs can enrich our lives in countless ways. “Creating time to play, bond and simply be with a dog is not only joyful — it’s deeply meaningful,” said festival founder Jill Waddell in a recent release about the 2025 event. “Rescue Dog Games gives you a fabulous day of play with your dog!” •

Earlier this year, the City of Peachtree Corners launched CurioCity, a new, fully integrated web chat assistant designed to enhance customer service and streamline communication between residents and city staff.
Developed in partnership with Citibot, a national leader in AI-powered solutions for local government, CurioCity is available 24/7 on the city’s website to help residents get fast answers, submit service requests and connect with the appropriate department — all in real time.
Powered by cutting-edge generative AI, CurioCity is built to serve Peachtree Corner’s diverse and growing community. Whether it’s finding information on local services, reporting an issue or reaching a specific department, CurioCity delivers quick, accurate and inclusive support any time of day.
“Our goal is to remove barriers and make city government more accessible, responsive and transparent,” said City Manager Brian Johnson. “CurioCity brings information and assistance to the fingertips of our residents, enhancing how we communicate and serve our community.”
With the city having a relatively small staff that doesn’t typically work after hours or on weekends, there isn’t always someone available to answer city-related questions or steer inquiries to the proper
place on the website.
“We provide the knowledge base for this chatbot with our website and the Curiosity Lab website to provide information on the front end,” said Louis Svehla, communications director for Peachtree Corners. “If someone asks a question about police, it will tell them that police services are not handled by the city. It would provide contact information for Gwinnett PD.”
Unlike a person, however, the bot can’t always answer questions that it hasn’t encountered before.
“The technology allows us to see what questions were asked that answers were not able to be provided,” said Svehla. “One of my things to do is go through those [questions] and find the answers and … either add that to the website or … to the knowledge base.”
Although an app is in the works, residents can start chatting with CurioCity now by visiting the city’s website and clicking the chat icon located in the bottom right corner of the screen — accessible on both desktop and mobile devices.
CurioCity greets users instantly and guides them through their inquiry.
“Municipal websites are full of valuable information, but it can be overwhelming for residents to navigate,” said Bratton Riley, CEO of Citibot. “With CurioCity, Peachtree Corners is creating a faster, more accessible and more personalized experience for every resident.”

Looking for Peachtree Corners gear? Well, it’s here — official Peachtree Corners merch is now available online!
In partnership with local marketing production company, Vox-pop-uli, the city launched a pilot program this year to create a new online shop that makes Peachtree Corners-branded merchandise available to the public. The initiative offers residents and visitors a curated collection of city-branded items to choose from, while supporting public spaces and community programs.
A portion of all merchandise sales will directly benefit the City of Peachtree Corners,
ment of Town Green amenities, as well as the city’s event programming.
This includes improvements to public gathering spaces, expanded offerings at community events and long-term investments in civic experiences that bring residents together.
The merchandise collection debuted on May 10 with a pop-up shop at the Town Green, coinciding with the city’s summer concert series kickoff. The day-long, pop-up event featured a variety of items, including concert-themed apparel, limited-edition collectibles and Mother’s Day gift selections. Residents can now purchase
• Drinkware: including Polar Camel insulated tumblers
• Headwear: such as SportTek® visors and TravisMathew® caps.
• Home & away essentials: like camp chairs, beach towels and picnic blankets.
A perfect collaboration Vox-pop-uli, based in Peachtree Corners, has nearly three decades of experience in marketing production, offering services from print and apparel to specialty engraving. Their collaboration with the city reflects a commitment to community engagement and local business support.
Louis Svehla, City of Peachtree Corners director of communications, is enthusiastic about the collaboration and the launch of the program.
“We’re thrilled to showcase our city’s spirit through this exciting new merchandise line,” he shared. •

If you’ve been to the dog park area of Town Center over the last few months you most likely noticed the doghouse-shaped building set beneath the tall trees next to the sidewalk there. With its crisp white paint, black shuttered walk-up counter and bright red roof, it’s hard to miss.
This unique amenity for Town Center visitors is the Bone Bar. Located behind the CineBistro building and operated by local business, Peachtree Growler (under a contract with the city), it’s currently open during concerts, Flicks on the Green and other special community events.
The idea of the bar had been in the works for over two years, with original design concepts shared in 2023. It officially opened May 10 of this year, coinciding with the first Town Green concert of the 2025 summer season. Serving adult beverages (such as beer, wine and seltzers) alongside juice pouches, water and soft drinks and an assortment of snacks and candy, it has quickly become a popular spot for drinks and treats for all ages.
The Bone Bar will continue to open for special Town Green events throughout the fall and winter season, so stop by and enjoy your own treat from this pup-and-people-friendly drink and snack bar when you’re there for some community fun. •

Fort Pain, the outdoor public, adult obstacle course located at the Peachtree Corners
Town Green has grown and evolved since its initial construction — with tall wooden walls and towers and a metal entrance gate being added over the last year or so. Now, a few new changes are in the works. First, a turnstile designed to replace the entrance gate was in the
process of being installed in September. That turnstile will eventually be connected to a QR code that visitors will scan to get into Fort Pain, requiring patrons to fill out an online registration — though that aspect may not be fully implemented until late October.
“The turnstile will be pass-protected and require registration,” confirmed Louis Svehla, director of communications for Peachtree Corners. “[Patrons] will have to complete a
form giving their name, birthdate and if they are or aren’t a resident.”
Svehla added that once the quick registration form is completed, guests will receive an email with a link to download the PDK app; this app will allow them to enter Fort Pain.
“There’s no firm date on when the QR code for turnstiles will be operational,” said City Councilmember Alex Wright, “but most likely not until after the decathlon is complete on October 18.”
For now, Fort Pain is still accessible the way it has been, though city officials want to remind the community that, for safety reasons, the obstacle course is designed for ages 18 and up only. The exception to this is the annual Memorial Day Youth Challenge, an obstacle-course-themed physical challenge for ages 9–18 organized by the city. •

By the time this City Guide issue is out, local residents and visitors to Peachtree Corners Town Green will be enjoying a new temporary public-art installation.
Produced by Dashboard and presented as part of Explore Gwinnett’s month-long ARTober initiative, the creative project, titled “The Cloud that Dreamed of a Lake” is designed to spark curiosity and conversation and “transform the heart of the community into an openair gallery where imagination meets every-day life.”
More than a simple greenspace decoration, the site-specific installation, inspired by sunsets that emerge after a rainstorm, is a celebration of community, visual storytelling and the power of transforming shared spaces into something unforgettable.
“Our 2025 ARTober is going to be our biggest and best ever,” said Lisa Anders, COO of Explore Gwinnett in September, “and we are beyond excited to unveil the Peachtree Corners Town Center public art installation as part of [it].”
“This is our ninth year celebrating and elevating Gwinnett’s arts, culture and public art spaces, and we add new
components each year,” she continued. “Town Center, with its busy event schedule, welcoming greenspace and hightech vibe, was a natural fit for … artist, Eddie Farr, whose work focuses on physical and digital technology — perfect synergy with the city’s high-
tech brand and reputation.”
artist
An Atlanta-based visual artist, musician and composer, Farr has performed internationally as well as throughout the U.S. And his art work has been shown at the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, ArtFields, Blue Heron Nature

Preserve, The Atlanta Beltline, Echo Contemporary Arts and Shedspace at Whitespace Gallery. He was also the installation artist at the 2023 Hambridge Art Auction.
“Over the years we’ve known him, [Eddie’s] work has continually evolved,” said Abigail Justman project director at Dashboard, “and now often takes the form of large-scale, immersive and interactive installations that both astound and inspire those who encounter them. He masterfully blends technology and nature, blurring the lines between the two and reshaping how we think and talk about
these seemingly very different worlds.”
The art
Described as an inverted cloud suspended between awnings above the Town Green, hanging “as if caught in reflection,” Farr shared his inspiration and vision for the piece.
“The idea for the work came from a memory I had of a cloud over a lake at sunset. I was at a residency at Hambridge and staying in Taylor House … a few miles into a forest in the clearing … Sunset was always right around the time [community] dinner was over, so on my way back
to the cabin, I would enter this clearing in the forest to bursts of warm, golden-pink light,” he said. “… One of those nights, it had been raining, and the clouds broke just as the sun was setting, and I saw this image of a reflected cloud at sunset … Taking that idea … seemed like a fun way to interpret what a sunset could look like.”
Justman said that from their first conversation with Explore Gwinnett, they knew this would be a special project.
“Eddie’s sculpture is a stunning tribute to the world around us and a reflection of what makes our shared spaces truly meaningful. It’s only fitting that it finds its home in a park as beautiful as Peachtree Corners [Town Green]. We are so grateful to Explore Gwinnett and Peachtree Corners for giving us the opportunity to bring a new site-specific work to the space. We can’t wait to share it with the community.”
“The Cloud that Dreamed of a Lake” will be on display from October 1 through November 7, inviting visitors of all ages to explore and experience art in-person, outside the walls of a museum. •
