Welcome Dear Friends & Fellow Cattle Producers, Welcome to our 9th Annual Sale, BVC Top Cut Event. We will be offering our top 50 bulls in an auction and private treaty format. We have included all 75 of our bulls in our catalog, but only the Top 50 will be offered on March 10th. We think with this format, we will have a more relaxed atmosphere. We will be able to assist our customers in their bull selection process, without much auction pressure. The top 10 bulls will be offered on an auction basis with a base price. If not sold for more than the base price they will be offered private treaty for that base price. The remaining 40 bulls will be priced in 4 more groups, according to their base prices. After the top ten bulls are auctioned, we will start taking purchases. Bull numbers will be announced as purchases come in and if another purchaser has that particular bull selected there will be a bid off on that bull. As soon as all customers have submitted their purchases that day, we will close the auction. You are welcome to come any time before the sale, or earlier on that day, to pick your favorites to be sold on March 10. If you don’t get a bull purchased that day, there will still be bulls that we will offere for sale private treaty beginning March 11, they will be semen tested, but will not be clipped, freeze branded, ultrasound scanned or DNA tested. We will keep your purchased bulls until April 1, free of charge, if you agree to pick them up by April 1, you will then receive a haul your own bull discount of $100 per customer. If you would like to have your bulls delivered, there will be no discounts applied at sale time and they will need to be delivered on or around April 1, as we get too busy past that point in time. If you would like insurance on your purchases, it will be available sale day. Breeding injury will be covered by our guarantee, but death should be covered by an insurance policy. We are offering females on a private treaty basis, let us know if you are interested in females. We hope that you will like our new format.
