We strive to curate moments where the customer notices that New Day is different. The tone of a visit is set the moment a customer enters New Day and is warmly greeted by our staff. Once inside the tunnel, delightful aromas and a stunning light show delight our customers. The kids will beg to come back after our staff brings lollipops while mom and dad take advantage of the vacuum amenities. While our guests may come in for a clean car, they come back because of the New Day experience.

THOUGHTFUL BUILDING AND SITE DESIGN

From the building colors to the width of the drive aisles, each design element was selected with the customer in mind. The building’s understated lines and colors evoke cleanliness. The oversized storefront entrance welcomes customers into the building, a rare feature in the market. The site is designed to maximize customer comfort as they maneuver through the property. Whether they drive a compact car or a family SUV, we considered all customers when developing the site. At New Day, we believe that a great experience starts with a great environment.

Our staff meticulously maintains and calibrates the equipment for peak performance, ensuring every vehicle looks its best. New Day offers exclusive amenities including multiple vacuum attachments, unlimited microfiber towels, compressed air guns, all-purpose cleaner, and automated mat washers.

Growth Strategy

New Day’s strategic growth plan is rooted in creating market density in every region we enter. Concentrated growth allows us to drive operational efficiencies across labor, chemical use, and parts sourcing, while also unlocking marketing advantages through focused geofencing and stronger brand visibility. Most importantly, it enhances convenience for our customers.

We began by building a strong foundation in the Birmingham market, where we currently operate two locations and have two additional sites under construction. From there, we expanded into Tuscaloosa, with one location underway, and Auburn. As we continue to strengthen our presence in these core markets, we’ve identified Pensacola and South Nashville as compelling next targets. Both are within a fourhour drive of Birmingham and feature multiple trade areas that align with our key selection criteria.

TOM SPIES, PRESIDENT

As President of LIV Ventures, Tom is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations. Before this role, he was the Chief Operating Officer at LIV Development. Prior to joining LIV, Tom was the Managing Partner at LAT30 Strategic Partners, a boutique private business and market consulting firm. For 15 years before that, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at The Powell Group, a family office based in Baton Rouge, LA. Tom’s extensive experience spans successful business launches and operational performance across various platforms, including real estate development, agri-business, broadcasting, timber, manufacturing ingredients, wholesale distribution, and mitigation banking.

PADEN GAINES, DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Paden serves as the Director of Business Operations for LIV Ventures, bringing over 12 years of operational experience to oversee the day-to-day activities of each business platform. Prior to joining LIV, Paden played a crucial role in the expansion of an automotive franchise operation, scaling it from single to double-digit locations and achieving a successful exit within a two-year timeframe. Additionally, he founded a family business in the pet industry and held leadership positions in sales departments across various marketing agencies in Birmingham. His unique background positions him well to effectively navigate the launch, scale, and expansion of new brands.

CHRISTINE ANTONELLI, BRAND AND OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Christine serves as the Brand and Operations Director for New Day Car Wash, bringing with her a decade of experience in the industry. At New Day Car Wash, Christine provides strategic leadership and oversight of brand development and operational execution. Prior to joining New Day, Christine played a critical role in a merger with private equity and oversaw car wash expansion from 8 sites to over 60 in just over 2 years. She has led operations for some of the biggest names in car wash industry. Christine is a performance driven operator with deep expertise spanning strategic planning, team building and leadership, and sustainable sales and profit growth.

WILSON MOORES, DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Wilson serves as Development Director for LIV Ventures. In this role, he is responsible for identifying development sites and investment opportunities for New Day Car Wash, leading design and permitting efforts, and coordinating closing on properties. He has worked with a variety of asset classes including multifamily, self-storage, and car washes. Wilson spent the early portion of his career in the construction industry working for Brasfield & Gorrie and Murray Construction where he gained experience in both project management and estimating. His background in construction and real estate has given him skills in design, cost budgeting, and managing third parties.
