The Women’s Department is continuing its support of SisterCare. Donations are now being accepted.

Thank you in advance for donating paper towels, bathroom tissue, Kleenex, baby wipes and cleaning wipes. No clothing donations are being accepted at this time.

Drop them off at the church in the specially marked box. Please make donations no later than March 25, 2021.

CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH “VALIANT WOMEN OF THE VOTE”

The role of women in our history, church, families and communities is extraordinary! March is designated as Women’s History Month to celebrate their many accomplishments.

The theme is “Valiant Women of the Vote...Refusing to be Silenced.”

Find ways to celebrate the women in your life. Here are a few ideas: • • • • • • •

Edmund Pettus Bridge Celebration The annual Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee will be a virtual online event as it commemorates the civil rights marches of 1965. The Jubilee will be hosted virtually from March 4-7, 2021. The event will honor the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis, who was brutally beaten at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma on what became known as “Bloody Sunday,” on March 7, 1965. Registration link:
