TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK 2012 MAY 7-11
If you appreciate the knowledge your child has acquired over the years, it’s time to say THANKS to our teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week is the perfect time to recognize the dedication of our FLS teachers to our children.
Starting May 7th, Monday, we will use the following daily themes or ideas to help say “Thank You” to your student’s teacher: MONDAY “You’re so SWEET” – Bring a sweet treat for your teacher. (i.e. candy bar, cookies, muffins). TUESDAY “CHEERS to You” – Bring a gift card for an after-school thirst quencher, a pop, coffee, mug or drink container. WEDNESDAY “Surprise” – You never know what the wonderful volunteers may have up their sleeves. THURSDAY “Thanks for SUPPLYING Knowledge”–Let’s restock our teachers supply shelves with things like sharpies, dry erase markers, glue sticks, sticky notes and other supply needs. FRIDAY “Thanks for WORDS of Wisdom” – Have your child, in their own words or drawings, write a note or draw a picture to thank a teacher, past or present. We will also be providing lunch to all FLS staff on Friday. LET’S SHOW OUR FLS TEACHERS HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO OUR KIDS AND OUR FAMILIES!!!!
