Commodity food box distribution sites and income guidelines Alaska seniors 60 and older who meet income eligibility guidelines may apply for a monthly food box through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. The food box includes nutritious items such as canned meat, vegetables, fruit juice, cheese, milk, cereal, peanut butter, or beans, pasta, rice or potatoes. Participants also receive nutrition education. To sign up, complete the application and take it to a local food distribution site.
