Belt was sold at Sotheby’s with other items of Napoleonic Interest

Dr.
Archibald Arnot, Source Wikipedia
Attached is a copy of the invoice to Dr. Arnot, part of a sale of Dr. Arnot’s belongings sold at Sotheby’s as “items of Napoleonic interest.”
The invoice is from H. Herbert, Linen Draper to H.R.H Duke of Kent. The Duke was the father of Queen Victoria. He was Commander-in-Chief of the British Army in North America. His two elder brothers (Kings George IV and William IV) both died without legitimate children and therefore in 1837 it was his daughter, Victoria, who became Queen.
The Invoice reads “Ladies and gentlemen fully Equipped for India.” The invoice includes a “waist belt.” The buckle for the waist belt’s buckle was the regiment badge of the 11th Dragoons Horse Guards.

MD; army surgeon; personal physician of Napoléon I at Saint Helena, 1819-21; took part in the autopsy and made a cast of his face.
