NATURAL ESCAPES By Juanita Viale Photographs by Sergio d'Angelo On a quiet partly cloudy morning in Limone, Italian recording artist Sergio d'Angelo set out on the empty slopes to photograph the essence of the stunning nature of this favourite local ski resort. After 3 decades of djing and producing music, this renown artist in Europe's clubbing scene is creating a sense of wanderlust in us to rediscover this winter escape from an artistic and natural point of view. "After days of heavy snow my desire to plow through a space of fresh snow was so strong I couldn't even sleep. From Limone 1400 I went up with snowshoes and snowboard in my backpack to the 'Marmotte' chalet. In the immense silence, interrupted only by my steps, I understood the importance of living in such a magical place where nature and I were one!"
