TRUNDLE BEDS

There comes a time in your child’s life when they want to have a friend come for a sleepover. The kids are so excited and all you can think about is ‘but where will they sleep? And will they sleep at all?’
Have you thought about a trundle bed as a solution?
Trundles are an extra bed which are neatly packed away under another bed and rolled out, conveniently, when guests arrive. This concept of having two beds in one space is super clever and convenient.
As the kids are separated on two levels, we believe this will guarantee a better night’s sleep for everyone. Whilst sleeping they will not disturb each other as they wriggle, there is no fight over blankets and each has their own pillow (hang on I think this is not just for kids!).
They are designed to fit the entire space under a bed (both length and width).
Available Sizes (to fit under the appropriate sized bed): Single, King Single, Double and Queen. They are built with hidden castors which means they can easily glide out either side of the bed. The base is slatted (for airflow) and they fit a high density foam mattress (15cmH) which are customised to each sized bed. Our trundles are designed to coordinate with our Colour Box, Oak Box, Noa, Scout, Charlie, Ripple Oak and Bronte Collections.
Please note that these are not standard sizes but are made specifically to fit under our beds. However, we can customise to suit any existing bed you may already have. If you wish to shop a trundle bed only (without a bed), please contact us directly.

The bunk bed has interlocking joints that allow it to soar into a tiered space saver. It is also defined by its generous proportions and peek-a-boo cut outs. It features an integrated ladder, allowing kids to easily access the top tier.
The Scoop Collection is made using solid timber allowing the beautiful natural properties of the timber grain to shine through.
Designed to keep kids safe, the bunk’s profile has been kept low to the ground, with easy access to both the bottom and top levels. Certified by Furntech Australia, it is compliant with Australian consumer protection safety standards.

The Paddles Wall Panels are an easy and innovative way to transform your kid’s bedroom walls. With a beautiful felt like appearance and no paint required, the arches (and cheeky spot) come ready to install straight away.
Designed as a bedhead, these panels wrap neatly into the corner of a room, to create a cosy feel for your child. Alternatively, these would work equally well with a desk or in a play room making them so versatile. With sound-proofing qualities and made form 50% recycled PET plastic, they are perfect for kids!

Lilly & lolly customers are often surprised at the flexibility of our team, allowing changes of furniture to suit specific spaces.
Our upholstered ranges allow you to create the right look for your room, including offering variations in leg styles and timbers, as well as options for bedhead stitching colours to suit your interiors. The design team has selected a wide range from leading fabric houses for you to choose from. Alternatively, you can supply your own fabric if you have a specific look in mind.
Lilly & Lolly is available in both American Oak and Australian Tasmanian Oak, as these beautiful hardwoods have such durable properties. To achieve the look you require,
the wood can either be left in its natural state with a satin clear finish, or you can apply either a ‘Black Japan’ or ‘Whitewash’ stain, which provides a tint, whilst allowing the integrity of the grain to be present.
Alternatively we can custom match a stain from your sample to allow your new Lilly & Lolly piece to integrate with existing furniture in your childs’ bedroom.
If your preference is for a painted finish, you can select from one of our six colour options or we can use any colour from the Dulux range.

Lilly & Lolly had its genesis in textiles at Paddington Markets in 1998. The brand began because there was a gap in the market for modern lifestyle bedding for kids.
In 2004 Megan Butler joined the business and worked with Ashling Punnett to build a wholistic brand for kid’s interiors encompassing furniture, bedding and homewares to create complete rooms to be inspired by. Lilly & Lolly bedding and furniture were sold into stores all over Australia plus flagship stores were established in Waterloo (Sydney) and the coveted shopping destination suburb, Albert Park (Melbourne).
In 2012 Megan took up full ownership and fulfilled the roles of Sales and Marketing plus Creative Director. With a passion for a bright future, despite floods, economic downturn and Covid-19, Megan used these adversities to reimagine Lilly & Lolly and, with the use of technology, created and launched the innovative and interactive website you are using today.
From small beginnings, Lilly & Lolly’s foundations are now laid to deliver families across Australia lifestyle products and inspiration to be enjoyed for both parents and kids alike!

Our furniture is made to order and handcrafted in Australia. Without the hassle of assembly, each piece (excluding beds) arrives complete into your home and ready to use. No juggling multiple pieces, screws, instructions.
