2024/2025 SCHEDULE

THE WORLD’S BEST THEATRE, OPERA, BALLET AND ARTS ON THE BIG SCREEN

Welcome!
We look forward to presenting a new season of Event Cinema – including world class performances, art history, opera, ballet and more. Experience the latest season of the Metropolitan Opera’s live transmissions with eight spectacular productions including such favourites as Aida, The Marriage of Figaro and The Barber of Seville.
Exhibition on Screen returns with a series of documentaries that explore the iconic artists and their most famous works. Van Gogh: Poets and Lovers offers a glimpse into the largest Van Gogh exhibition ever mounted at the National Gallery, London. The EOS season is rounded off by an exploration of the birth of the Impressionist movement and the genius of Michelangelo.
Royal Ballet and Opera's upcoming offer comprises an astonishing 10 world-class productions – comprising six ballets and four operas. A very special addition this year is Wolf Witch Fairy an enchantingly staged family folk opera and wonderful opportunity to introduce younger friends and family to the joys of opera.
National Theatre Live present a joyful reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy The Importance of Being Earnest. Three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke is joined by Ncuti Gatwa (Doctor Who; Sex Education) in this production.
Other cinema releases this winter which may be of interest include Mark Cousins' sensitive documentary A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things about Scottish artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham and the long awaited cinematic adaptation of the energetic and colourful musical Wicked.
