S C H O O L S P R O G R A M M E 2 0 22 / 2 0 2 3 At Light House Dublin and Pálás Galway, we believe that a complete cinematic experience of a film can produce meaningful and insightful learning experiences for students. With our annual programme for primary and post-primary schools, we have a rich and varied selection of films, with screenings of curriculum related titles, as well as socially and culturally relevant films and event cinema.

BOOKING INFORMATION • All films from our programme booklet are available to book year-round, unless otherwise stated.

• We typically take school groups of at least 50 students, although we will do our best to facilitate smaller groups.

• School screenings take place on weekday mornings between 9am-11:30am.

• There is a reduced rate for school bookings and teachers go free under the condition that they supervise students in the screen at all times.

• We offer discounted concessions for students.

• If there is a film that you wish to see that is not listed, please contact us and we will do what we can to accomodate you.

• We advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

• All bookings must be finalised and paid a week in advance of the screening.

• Notice of cancellation must be given at least 2 weeks in advance of the screening, otherwise a fee will be applied.

• As per our Child Protection Policy, we ask teachers to supervise students at all times.

As well as our regular programme of films currently playing, we have over 100 titles in our schools catalogue available for booking, including but not limited to the below options and subjects, as well as seasonal screenings such as Christmas and Halloween.
