CASCADE CORRIDOR SPRING CLEAN The Inaugural Cascade Corridor Spring Clean Event, co-sponsored by the Cascade Business & Merchants Association & The Cascade Corridor Enhancement Coalition on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9am to 12 pm to celebrate Arbor Day. The target areas for trash pick-up are adjacent to the 1-285 Cascade exits and the surrounding Cascade Corridor. The Cascade Corridor Enhancement Coalition strives to improve and maintain the safety and physical environment of the area to assure the retention of businesses and desired economic growth to augment the value of our community. This will launch a major anti-littering publicity campaign to seeking neighbors to participate in the clean up initiative. The goal is to engage community organizations to adopt a segment of Cascade Street to maintain, hopefully reduce the amount of littering through education. All residents, neighborhood organizations, and businesses in the Cascade community are urged to participate in the Neighborhood Spring Clean event. The event will kick-off at the Publix parking lot, 3695 Cascade Rd SW, Cascade Crossing, Atlanta, GA 30331-2173. The event will culminate at the end of the project with refreshments and music.
